Actually it makes them Ulysses. As it turns out it was Robert Schneider's other band. (Rob Schneider?..ha thats kind of funny... and it's obviously not THAT Rob Schneider)

That's pretty accurate - it's exactly what I do with my board. As I do the final mixdown, I have to do it in real time - as the song plays through, I adjust the mixers as the song plays, as well as adding/removing effects that I only wanted at one place in the song. It used to be more difficult for me, but I think the sound is better in the end, although it often takes about 10 tries to get the mix you want.
