Comforting. Of course we would never supply any country with arms in our national interest, would we? I'd like a new list of global terrorism sponsors, please.
Bringin' the stink since 2006.

While I do not support a ground war with Iran... we must face that in a way... we are already at war with them. Its not crazy to think that Iran is supporting the insurgency in neighboring Iraq. After all, they have a stake in that too. They are STILL Iraq's enemy and supporting any attacks against it's current establishment is still in their best interest. You know they want to change that one letter to an 'n'.

Dude, they are not "Iraq's enemy". They were Saddam Hussein's enemy. Nothing in that area is as clear as "this whole country is against this other whole country", sadly. We're arming all sorts of factions/militias/sects/etc. ourselves, and the whole country has become basically a set of lawless fiefdoms, so there is a huge black market, in weapons among other things. Beyond all that, isn't it utterly absurdly hypocritical of us to complain about other countries "interfering" in Iraq? What the hell have we been doing there for the last four years?

Please read the following interview with Nir Rosen, a journalist who just got back from the Middle East where he was traveling among various factions and militias in various countries:
