Scoring Key: (Production, Performance, Song)
The Glatex Love (7, n/a, 5)
Sex samples above General MIDI music. Not my thing.
Kapitano (7, 7, 6)
If I had just listened to this, I wouldn't have liked it much. But since I saw your "Fornication in Church" in the ID3 tag, this song makes more sense and I kinda like it. It's still a little left-field, but I got a chuckle out of it. The mix does need a little more treble, though.
King Arthur (8, 7, 7)
I'm getting more Grateful Dead out of this. The music is fairly boring, just a modified 12-bar, but I do like the lyrics. And your chorus hook is fairly strong. I like your jazzy bridge. It might have been better to double the length - it felt like it came and went too quickly. Heh.. watch/fax - income tax line is excellent. I think you're nailing the genre you're going after. It's a little standard for my tastes, but this would be a great roadtrip song.
Redcar (8, 8, 8)
Great groove you've got started. The vocal effect is perfectly executed. Great chord at :50. The percussion you've got going is great. Very Nine Inch Nails in the second verse (bonus points). I was hoping for it to explode more at 1:50. Nice instrumental section at 2:15. This should be boring by 2:30, but you're doing an excellent job of adding ear candy to keep the arrangement interesting. The groove is huge. Great drum groove at 4:00, and even better part right after it fades out. You sound like Mike Patton all of a sudden. Screw anyone who tells you this is too long - 5:34 is perfect. I think this is the first SF song that's ever deserved to be this long. You'll get my vote unless someone really blows you away.
Freudian Slip (7, 7, 6)
Mars doesn't rhyme with From, and I was really expecting a rhyme. Interesting bass tone. You've got some cool production ideas here. Something is making this sound too mono or something, and the 128kbps artifacts are really hurting this, especially the bass. There's not really enough structure to this.. by the 2m mark, it feels like you've been making it up on the spot the whole time. Yeah, this didn't do much for me.
Big Mountain Fudge Cake
Congrats to Lunkhead, who is the only one to guess that this was me.

Wow, thanks for the votes... a close one... sorry to KA for taking the crown, but better luck next time!! I'm sure all of Redcar is appreciative... funny, cause we weren't too sold on whether or not we'd make this one work, but each guy did his thing... so thanks.
