Jam Sessions

Post by Tonamel »

I'd heard about this "game" a while ago. I put "game" in quotes because, even though it's for the DS, it's more of a guitar simulator than anything else. Pick chords with the d-pad, and strum the touchscreen.

Anyway, I thought of it, and decided to check on the release date, and... turns out it's today.

I guess I know what I'm going to be spending money on.

That is pretty cool. If it was combined with a drum machine, it would be really cool.

I just downloaded it last night (R4 DS flashkit, you are the greatest), and I've been messing around with it. Strumming with the stylus is imperfect and kind of hard to get just right, and my fingers are too slow to make chord changes quickly, but it seems pretty decent. I've spent a lot of time on really long train rides lately, writing lyrics but without a good way to get some music behind them, and I think it will be pretty useful in that regard.
