What, nobody even posted to mention that it's Mad Hatter Day???

I've had a kind of unhappy week all week, but I did have something nice happen just this afternoon. I have a song in the "I Dragged Her Down" tournament over at Tuneflow this month, and somebody actually bought a copy! Yeah, I know, 45 cents isn't going to fund my retirement or anything, but it was just so cool to know that somebody out there actually paid money for a song I wrote and performed!

QotD, if anybody's still listening: something good that happened to you in the last week.

Weekends are traditionally quiet days at Songfight. Maybe we should just do a weekend (i,e. Oct 6-7) post in the Roll Call.

Good things for the Niv this past week:
- Work has begun for my 30th B-day party.
- Party at the job. Always a good thing.
- New friendships are good things.
- Met some new musicians. Hurry for networking
- Started The Fight Songs.
- A great cover from Sausage Boy
- New Septemberian art from my artist and it frickin' rocks.
- Supernatural season premiere
- Finished 7th Son book #2
- Finished writing an important Septemberian chapter.

All sorts of good stuff this week. :)

QOTD: My Adobe Creative Suite 2 box arrived. Finally! I'm a bit of a starving artist for CS3, but CS2 just scrapes into my price range. It wasn't activating after I installed it, but after an hour or so of trying updates and stuff, I had a brainwave and checked the system clock. It was set to Jan 1, 1970. I changed that, and it worked fine. Success!
