Edit - A mis-fire as Jim Tyrrell and I posted a QOTD at the exact same time. Deferring to the senior member, I'm erasing this question and offering my apologies.

Today is Jason's 6 year birthday party. OK, he was born in late August, but since no one is around, and we're often traveling then his party is a month or two later. he doesn't seem to mind. 6 friends will arrive soon and join the Spiderman webs throughout the house.
QotD: Rainbows are very high on the list. Magnificent! Hurricanes and blizzards were always favorites growing up, when Long Island and Vermont got clobbered on a yearly basis. I love the awesome power of large storms, and their lightning is also a favorite phenomenon. From Hoboken, I watched one of the big hurricanes hit Manhattan and saw the twin towers swaying like trees, I think it was David or Bell. While dangerous and destructive, it's awesome and humbling as well. And we can't control them so, what the hell? Be careful, but rejoice the power of nature!
