Please stop me before I commit murder....

Post by Märk »

...the guy upstairs from me has been blasting teh suck all evening:

Lenny Kravitz
Heart (not their early, cool stuff- more like mid-eighties ballad shite)
Skid Row
Some crap I can't name, but it's like what you'd hear on top 40 AM radio
I think I heard some Michael Bolton in there.

I can't take it anymore. But I don't feel like going out anywhere. What should I do? I might have to blast some Slayer or something in retaliation.

Wow, a completely self-contained post. Situation, question, resolution. Nobody even needs to respond. And yet I did.

Well, thank you for that.

He even played some fuckin' Don Henley. The fact that he's still alive right now is a miracle.

I hear neighbors tend to hate my music. But then there's the catch that you'd have to listen to it too.

I also heard that Luke Henley is masterfully writing an entire album of good Luke Tunes that are all the exact opposite audio frequency waves of popular Don Henley tunes so that the two can cancel each other out. He needs more funding though.

Someone needs to invent a machine that samples background noise (read: bad music) and inverts the waveform in realtime, then blasts it out at the same levels to phase cancel out the noise. Headphones already do this, why not a standalone box?

With more money and a little luck, Hotel California will have never happened. Nor will the abhorrent Jackson Browne covers.
