Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

Here.

Qotd: Write a song you REALLY want to write.

Fires: My girls have been in each day because the smoke is too thick for recess. I'm not as close to any fires as BLT might be to the Santiago one, although I think we're both safely far away. But you can't be in SoCal and not know people affected. My Uncle has been evacuated from his property in San Diego County - which burned a few years ago, so there's little there now. I know lots of people with homes/cabins in the Lake Arrowhead-Big Bear Area, many don't know if their structure was lost yet or not. I spend every summer for the last 26 years at Arrowbear music camp - which is less than 2 miles from the so-called "Slide Fire." Very scary, and yet me and mine are quite directly safe, which is a comfort.

Do you think he means 'name a song you wish you wrote' or 'do you have a song that you wish you could write and but haven't?'

Is smoke-inhalation making him dopey?

QOTD: Buy a boomerang. Go to the beach around 7ish am. Throw. (The breeze coming off the Pacific is really... friendly... in the early am.)

That's one thing I miss from my time living in coastal Cali.
