Or maybe it should appear in EVERY song ;-)

Well the votes are in and the results show that all 8 family members I told Song Fight about voted for me :-)

I had my money on J Seavers, but good fight everybody and thank you all for the valued input.

You're going to have the blame the Yamaha corporation for that. The DD-6 is not a programmable or MIDI-controllable drum machine.. what you hear is the built-in "Speed Metal" patch, slowed back down a bit.

Aah, nothing like good ol' Yamaha speed metal presets

When I think 'speed metal' I think 'Yamaha'

Well yeah! I mean who doesn't? Congrats to Uncle Boltoph and the Deshead Kid for winning, now stop doing that and give the rest of us a chance will ya?

Thanks to everyone who did reviews, very comprehensive and useful. In a fight as big as this one was, 2 things really stand out for me. The overall quality of the competition and the number of reviews that were written. Outstanding job everyone.

I’m sorry I’m late getting to these. I seem to have completely F!$*#$% up my neck, and am contending with big pain. Apologies if my reviews seem a trifle curmudgeonly. I’m drinking wine and moping under the heat pad. This fight, like the other in this round, was pretty uniformly great. If I dismissed your song with little more than a “not really doing it for meâ€

Roymond: I’m not a huge fan of chorus – the effect, that is. I’d back off of it on your guitar. The comparatively un-effected vocals end up in too distinct a place from those chorus-y guitars.

Yeah, I had run out of time for the first deadline and then had none the second week to touch this and so it is a bit unfinished production and otherwise. It is a bit unbalanced that way...you're right!
