The recording quality on the 4amCig track is so bad that I can't listen to it all the way through. From what I could hear of your voice, it sounds like at least you're not tone deaf or anything. Actually, I'd say your singing is, at this point, the least of your problems. Figure out how to record the guitar without all that buzzing sound, and how to record your vocals without constantly bumping into the mic (are you singing very quietly so nobody will hear you, getting up real close on the mic? if so, figure out a time/place that you can at least sing in a normal voice and back off from the mic some, and figure out some sort of a mic stand substitute (duct tape and something vertical) so that there isn't all that low-end stuff going on.
When you can produce a recording that is at least listenable, then you may start getting some useful critiques on the performance, vocal and otherwise.

Here are 3 randomly-selected reviews...
Flapjack - Man, I love that 12-string sound. The rocking out is great. The rest is just ok. Perhaps if it was tighter.... (perhaps when I get to the studio version, I'll have more to say on that.)
Melvin - Something about your voice doesn't sell this at all. It's a catchy little thing though.
Gurdonark - If you could sing better, this would be really beautiful. I like the weird stuff.

Ok, another 3...
Andre...Hoblit - There's that sweet sweet 12-string. I also like the tremolo guitar. The song itself doesn't do much for me. Seems like a lot of awkward phrasing in the verses.
Wages - Not a fan of this type of singing but you get points for full-throating it. I wish the guitar sounded as powerful.
Brainpipe - Yeah, this is basically how I remember it. Pretty weird. But at least it's got a good beat.

A few more...
DJ Big Dick - Not hearing much thought put into the sample choice/arrangement. I also think recording live drums was a mistake as the only tip-off I can hear that these aren't programmed is that the timing isn't quite right.
The Weakest Suit - This is interesting. I like the verses better than the chorus (or whatever the slower part is). I would've liked something out of left-field in the lyric too.
Lyricburglar - This is a pretty good song. I like that last chorus a lot. I also like the spoken part... I guess that's because I just like your speaking voice better than your singing voice.

1. 4am - can't listen to it because of the horrible buzz and the wind on the mic
2. add - cute, sounds like a good song to see you do live, but not really that great
3. the anchors - you need to put a lo-cut/hi-pass EQ on your vocals, or something, they sound muffled; bring the band in much earlier, as the song gets pretty good at that point; not bad
4. andre/hoblit - nice production on this, all the guitars sound real good; the vocals fit the song pretty well, i think; it's all got a bit of Nick Cave sound, which I like; it could use some more going on, like a bass track maybe, or some percussion or something; good song, though
5. bad cactus - this is okay, but doesn't really hold my interest; nothing about it is terrible, though, so that's nice, but it could use more intensity, maybe louder guitars or something, and i'm not into that percussion noise at all
6. big matt - the dual vocals are really not working for me, especially when you're trying to hold a note out but not doing it (possibly on purpose?); the music part is pretty repetitive and boring
7. BLT - your intro is too long; the verse is kinda sleepy...; chorus rocks out nicely, though; okay song; i wish there were parts with just one solid vocal track, rather than the "cloud" of tracks
8. blues train - you have caused me the blues, because you suck
9. blump town singers - yay, female vocals! who are you? please stick around, and not just for the sake of diversity; i like this little doo-wop ditty; it's short and okay; did you use some "vinyl" plug-in on this? if so i don't like that, sorry
10. BC3 - I think I'm going to vote for you guys, and use proper capitalization and punctuation in my review of your song. You deserve it. This is good stuff. I think your intro is too long, though. Dang, your whole song is too long. 5:50?! Are you serious? Still, I'd rather have almost six minutes of this than even 5 seconds of somce of the other songs. Seriously, trim a minute off your intro or something, though. Your drummer must have fallen asleep, or you copied and pasted a loop of him playing, which is cheating.
11. chris cusack - i got scared by the intro, but the backing vox and percussion have made this better than i thought it was going to be; also your singing is okay; i wanted more stuff going on in the chorus; oh my god, more female vocals!! YAY! please stick around, as, again, your song doesn't suck; in fact, i like it
12. dj big dick - ugh, this is soooo bad
13. embers of autumn - cute lyrics in the beginning; your singing seems a bit off pitch at times, though; this is ok, mostly suffers from being a bit too lo-fi and sparse for me, especially instrumentation wise; the piano playing is alright but not strong enough to carry the song so much
14. flapjack - i like this version better than the live version; i like your voice without your usual distortion; i like the stomping percussion; ok song
15. gurdonark - cool keyboard part in the beginning; not as into the singing and other noises; or the second part of the song; too bad, as that keyboard part is very bjork-esque and cool; that plus some good bass part and some better percussion would be cool
16. hans gruber - this song is very ok; the drums kinda suck, but the guitar's good; probably would be more fun live, for me personally, but i'm burnt out on rock music at the moment; oh wait, cool guitar solo stuff, nice, more of that would be cool
17. hedonistic calculus - sounds like video game; sounds like CHack singing almost; overall a little too atmospheric for me, doesn't go anywhere different musically to add tension
18. hoblit/andre - i like the studio version better, but this would have been cool to see live
19. iron man - more lo-fi, too lo-fi for me; the lyrics are pretty blunt, and those rhymes sounds pretty clunky; a banjo solo would've been awesome
20. jeff robertson - yeah, live version, gotcha
21. KEN - congratulations on winning the live fight; good song, let's make a rocking studio version
22. King Arthur - ok song; i like the backing vox; good guitar soloing
23. lord of oats - dude, it's spelled "Oates"; another so-so lo-fi song; ok guitar solo
24. LSK - suck
25. lyrics burger - kinda cheesy, and not really doing it for me, but not all that sucky
26. MC Eric B - whoa, that music is cheesed out to the max; you're singing! i can tolerate that a lot more than your rapping; man, not every pair of lines has to rhyme, especially when you're not rapping, think outside the box
27. MC Wino - at this point, when I see "MC" something on SF!, I get scared, sorry folks; this starts out as not a rap song, so that's making me feel less scared; i like the intro except for the awful keyboard bass; the percussion would sound better as real percussion, please buy a tambourine and shaker, they're cheap; singer is emoting, which is good, but there are some little pitch issues; i'm not so into the rock part, and that strange guitar part on the right side; i think more of a shoe-gazer sound would've worked better for me
28. Melvin - cool, I like the "Let's go now"... this is reminding me of Jonathan Richman a bit; pretty decent
29. paco del stinko - good one, not much else to say
damn, how many f'ing songs are there?! time to be even more brief
30. puadxe - too much of the same chord progression over and over, but still not too terrible
31 ross durand - this is easy like a sunday morning, or so it reminds me; too cheesy for me
32. snape etc. - oh god... next
33. brainpipe - um, what? too odd for me
34. steve durand - cooky, and kinda entertaining; do you still talk to men from outer space?
35. urine luck - who let you have a guitar? get back on the mic! wow, that was a brief but promising return, more please
36. wages - some cool stuff in the guitar but mostly just not working for me
37. weakest suit - man, couldn't anyone have gotten clever with this title? more guytar, sorry, not holding my interest thought it's not terrible
38. wreckdom - at least i know you guys will not do something predictable and boring, which is cool, and i have no idea wtf you're talking about in this song
39. x tokyo etc. - ok
Dang, big fight...

I thought of writing a lengthy diatribe about good and bad songs in this thread, but decided instead to put it in Help and Howto and just link to it from here:

Another 3...
Lord of Oats -- Feeble vox are sort of charming. There's some twist in the lyrics near the end that I want to hear more about.
Paco del Stinko -- Didn't you do the fake live thing last year? I like this song, and I really like the arrangement/production. Sounds nice and thick. One issue: "I'm far from perfect and neither are you" doesn't make any sense to me.
Embers of Autumn -- Sorry, not into it. Too much sap, and the buried vocal doesn't sell it.
