Shit, how I wish I had time for this.
I've never taken longer than two days to record a song anyway (I don't think......) so this would be right up my alley. If not for Nur Ein, the Popcast, The Daily Grind and semi-adequate parenting, I'd be all over this.
Quantity is a quality.

I'd be interested in doing this 50 songs business, but for one that post is over a month old, and for another, I don't know that I could even approach that level of creativity.

The whole concept of doing a mass number of projects in a short period of time actually is going on in the writing world also.

Every year, a challenge goes out to aspiring writers to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days (The month of November). It boils down to a little over an hour of writing a day, which to a moderately good songwriter, is all that's needed to put a basic (albeit threadbare) song out.
