I get to read most of Beowulf tonight. It's a really good read ... I don't look forward to writing a paper on it though.
I like micro-evolution. It makes things fun and interesting to look at. If there was more proof of macro-evolution, I'd be down.

I was watching a documentary a while back hosted by Richard Dawkins and he put the evidence for evolution in an interesting perspective. A forensics expert doesn't have to witness a murder taking place, but by using the evidence found, he can make a pretty good case for it.
Of course, he was much more eloquent, which is what he's good at. The documentary comes highly recommended:

Terry Pratchet actually has a 'god of evolution' in one of his Discworld books. He designed animals, and how they would eventually evolve from microbes into those animals. As i remember, he was particularly fond of bugs (because they were easy to make) and his 'masterpeice' of evolution was the cockroach.Niveous wrote:God + Science. Interesting.
