One of my favorite games! It won't run on my new mac (I hope this isn't a problem you'll have) but I have really been enjoying Age of Mythology on it.Caravan Ray wrote: Just got Age of Empires II for Mac for my birthday. It is the only computer game I have ever really liked - but since I stopped using a PC almost 3 years ago, I haven't been able to play it. I'm looking forward to stomping on some villagers with an elephant.
Happy day after!

It wont run on your new Mac?!?! That's a worry! Haven't loaded mine yet - but I just got a brand new Macbook. Hope I don't have a problem there too! I still have my older iMac though.Ross wrote:One of my favorite games! Couldn't get into Age of Mythology. Bit too..."mythological" for me. And I recently downloaded a free sample of AoEIII - but don't like it much either. I think the main thing is I really can't be arsed learning how to play a new game. I like AoEII and I see no reason to try anything else.

(OK - I can't remember when your birthday really is - but I know it is somewhere around here)
I really just wanted to point you to this:

Like you said - Age of Empires II wouldn't run on my new Macbook - but the dudes on that forum showed me how to get it going. If that was your problem too - check it out. Just did the William Wallace learning campaign again. That was so sweet!. It's all coming back to me now!
