TMK – things you do that usually work for me aren’t working as well here. The lyrics just sound like a bunch of stuff you decided to sing – so the structure is lacking for me. Interesting, but when I listened closer it just didn’t hold together for me. It sounds kind of like the rambling song a little kid makes up in the back seat when they’re bored and they just sing about what they’re seeing out the window. –0k
Stelloscura – I like the sound overall. But the vocals/content aren’t grabbing me too much. – 0k
Sausage boy – Ok, I kinda like this. Mainly because I relate to it. I think we might be very close in age. Were you wearing Superman underoos? My friends and I played all these games (ok, maybe not the sex-crazed part). The monkey bars in my backyard were the Milleneum Falcon more than once. - ok
Special realtives – reminds me a little of Eugene Chadbourne and a little of a lost Bright eyes bootleg. I can’t put my finger on why, but I’m not really getting into this one. -ok
Seamus collective – Well the rest of the guys took the raw material I supplied and made a kick-ass song. The lyrics are pretty personal (true story) so I am very appreciative of the positive comments about them – I didn’t know if they would project. Sorry about the vocals, only two days before I actually couldn’t sing at all, having lost my voice after doing a hardcore impression to entertain the high schoolers at a summer camp I work at. I think the song turned out nicely. - Biased
Poison Sparrows – Great performances all around. I like the sound of the chorus. I keep wanting that lick to turn into unchained melody. Who’s on this? Is this a songfight allstar band? Lots of familiar sounds here. Words ok. good
Next bedtime – ok – kind of like don’t forget to wear sunscreen on 45.
Phunt – ok, credit for the twist on the title. Probably deserves a second listen. For now I’m trying to rush through these.
Paco – fun take on the title but “Influential?â€

the lyrics are indeed a bunch of things, and I certainly did decide to sing them.

Note: Reviews get more lazy as they go on, so people later in the alphabet, I'm really sorry, but it's hard not to get lazy when reviewing this many.
Daddy Bop - I really like this. The basswork is killer at that one section. Is that being played on keyboard, or actually on bass? Either way, it's impressive. This is pretty well mixed, and the song is well-written. This is great stuff. Your voice almost reminds me of Josh Woodward. For most people, I'm not sure how that would go over, but I love that guy. I'd say about ... 9/10.
Desperate Video Juegos - I can see how this is funny ... maybe. This sounds like the stuff I was making in July of last year. Identical. With a name like yours, I was expecting more. Not terrible, but I honestly don't dig. The voices were annoying. I give it about 4/10.
@eclectic spOOns - Your stuff is really starting to sound better. I'm not a huge fan of how it's basically clips of voices instead of a song that you wrote, but it's not a bad job at all. Seems like something that they would play at a dance club. It's pretty long though. The music in the back has improved a lot over your other stuff. Keep getting better! 6/10.
Fish Sausage - Not bad once music gets in. This was for your video, right? I like it with video, but it doesn't really stand alone without the visuals. Don't know what I can say. 5/10.
Jolly Roger - This is me! I like it more than my other ones, especially since I didn't have to program hammerhead! I wish my vocal takes had been better, but that's understandable with me doing them. I actually did the vocals in one take, since my efforts at putting different clips together weren't working. I got sick of trying to do that, so I just did the whole thing in one take. I just like the tune, mostly. Oh, and those terrible cheesy vocals aren't even clips from a bad movie or anything. I just put it into one of those programs that you type and it says it. I know, lame, but I couldn't find any good clips. I give it 7/10.
Jordan Seavers - Weird intro. It's interesting though. I've heard some of your other stuff, and this is quite different from what I can tell. Once the vocals come in, I like it more. Good song. It's catchy and pretty good all-around with the mix and everything. Good job. This is one that I'd listen to again. 9/10.
Kanahele - It's got a pretty intense feel to it. I like when the beat comes in. I'd be lying if I said I didn't skip through parts though. I'm guessing this one had video for it too? Just from the sound of it. It's not bad, but not one I'd listen to again. 6/10.
Killer D - Your voice goes in and out a lot. You don't have a bad sound to your voice, but your stuff will sound better once you're a bit better at recording. From what I can tell, you could have some decent stuff in the future. 5/10.
MMMC - For some reason, when I saw your name, I was thinking you were MC Milk Plus. So I guess my hopes were set a bit high. It'd be good if there was something catchy or at least melodic in there. I'd say 3/10.
Mr. Lostman - For being a fairly new guy, your stuff is pretty wicked. I like the ska/reggae feel to it. Good stuff. Some of the vocal harmonies could use a bit of polishing, but that's a minor setback. I dig this. One problem - pretty long ending. I'd say 7/10.
Next bedtime - You've got some decent white man rap sound to you, but the song is just the same thing the whole way through. I'd say 2/10.
Paco Del Stinko - Wow. Your stuff is so polished. Reminds me of a "The W's" song. Except with good guitar. It has really interesting sounds to the harmonies and stuff. I love it. This is a multiple listen song. 9/10.
Phunt; Don't Tell - Can't quite tell what this is. It definitely has the feel of the title though. I'd say 6/10.
Poison Sparrows - Is this Smalltown Mike with some people, maybe Melvin? This is great! Definitely my favorite of the fight! Wow. It gets better and better with the solo and everything. It just has such a good sound, I can't believe it. I'd say 10/10.
Sausage Boy - Voice is really quiet. The music is a bit varied, which is good. I can see some of my friends listening to this. I personally wouldn't, but that might just be taste. 5/10.
The Seamus Collective - This is good stuff! You're missing a few of your notes, I think. I wish you had built it up a bit more though. I'd give it a 9/10.
The Special Relatives - This sounds a bit lazy to me. The vocals are all a bit off of each other. Not bad though. I can see this being better if it had a bit more depth to it. 5/10
Stelloscuro - Have you done this before? Your sound is really good. I wouldn't go so far to say that I love the song itself, but it's got some great feel to it. 6/10.
Those Meddling Kids - I'm not a fan of the vocal style, but this one's got some good melody in there. Decent stuff. Not my favorite of the fight, but good stuff for what the style is. 6/10.
This fight was not bad, but there was a bit too much poorly done rap/electronic/music in it for my liking. There were a few great ones, such as ... Daddy Bop, Jordan Seavers, Paco Del Stinko, and the Seamus Collective. I'd have to say that Poison Sparrows gets my vote easily though.

Hey; I want to say thanks for all the kind reviews of Killer D. He really does have potential, and I can't wait to see him flourish. Oh, and Sausage, he IS a kid. Be cool.

Killer D's got potential, sure. But my instant problem with the track was the subject matter (and the fact he didn't seem to write lyrics in advance.) A song about how "50 Cent is a real nigga because he's not afraid to pull the trigger" is boooooooooring.

Congratulations Mr. Seavers! - Deserved and appropriate. Thanks to all for the votes (6! My new high) and for all the comments and reviews. I'm corny, I know, but sincere. And Furry Pedro...the yet continues! Thanks for the music people!

Great job Jordan! Lots of thanks to the two voters who ended my long train of ducks! I was pretty sick of getting no votes. It's kind of disheartening. I'm glad I got a chance to listen to them all though. There's some decent stuff in there.

My apologies to everyone for the late reviews to this fight, there were some gems in here.
Desperato Video Juegos- Though this may have won the Oscar for funniest song, the silly vocals become annoying upon repeated listens. The music is really good, nice and groovy. The straight vocalist has a really nice voice. Without the “duckâ€
