Yes, yes it is indeed!
'ppreciate it.

So should everybody start reviewing the early ones now, or wait for the deadline and get them all in at once?

Yeah, I may have to bail. My little bro is coming to visit this weekend... so I'll have no time to work this up. Oh well. Maybe I'll do something and hand it in late!

if all goes well I'll be doing something organic tomorrow afternoon, mixing tomorrow evening and posting tomorrow night, if all doesn't go well then I'll at least have gained some experience...

Good idea, I have been contemplating this development as both Mrs Rinky and myself are fucked up with a cold which is beating the crap out of us, so I have decided to extend the deadline until the end of the day on Wednesday 5th September

I would prefer for the reviewers to wait until after the deadline, but I don't think it matters too much.

I think I will wait until after the deadline to review them. That way I can listen and review them in one posting.

I had a lot of fun recording for this side fight. Even though I have only entered one Song Fight - I put a lot less pressure on myself than when I tried to record So Weird. Also recording in the lobby of a liquor store has been very trial and error and I think I am finding a better EQ now.

I still need some schooling on mixing...

It seems I'm kind of late. But I think I'm going to do a rendition of 'The Gift', since I've still got quite sometime to do this.

Is there anyone out there? I will do Venus in Furs VOCALS if someone will do the music! How can we not have a cover of Venus in Furs? Don't make me do a second "re-invention" entry as a G'n'G tune. If someone doesn't bite, I'll have to consider it!

And it won't be pretty.

Yip, since the deadline has been moved to the 5th there's plenty of time left :)

Thanks, Mr. Dink, I was worrying that I wouldn't be able to finish by the deadline! Recording is proceeding, but a lot of work remains.

Fuck my old boots backwards, I did it!!! all that remains is a little bit of mixing (levels etc...) and I'll post/send the link for Version two of 'Candy Says' as recorded by 'Tom, Ant, Nigel and Did' most probably by tomorrow evening (mainly due to the fact that I came home without the Guitar ttrack (doh!).

You'll probably not be overly amazed, but honestly this is the first time I've ever done anything like this and can now really start to appreciate the effort you guys put into your stuff.

Organic spOOns - Candy Says

I was hoping that I'd be able to get something together with the extended deadline, but I don't think I'm gonna make it. Carry on without me, if I come up with a belated masterpiece, I'll post here...

Hey Spoon, when I try and listen to your songs, it asks me for my esnips log in - I don't really want to set one up, so why don't you send me the mp3s, and I'll host it for you on my website? That way everyone can enjoy without the hassle of signing up ...

Also Rinkydink, I notice my link isn't on the first page even though it's been up for two weeks. I know it's not great but heyyyy :)

Ha! thanks for pointing that out Johnny, I'll take you up o your kind offer and whizz them over to you, Now I'll continue my search for some free reliable web-space that's hassle free and allows deep linking!

I'd upload them to LightningMP3 but they don't allow covers :(
