How many apostrophes are too much (sic) in a plural? I don't know when to stop caring.
Never stop carin'g. I;m almost ther'e, but I need a little more time.

off topic
By the way, I don't know if you saw this YouTube vidjya that Mostess posted, The impotence of proofreading. And this one regarding your "when to stop caring" statement. What teachers make. Very funny.

For what it's worth, my entry is solo-less.

OK, i narrowed my solo's down from seventeen to thirteen. i think it's going to pull the song together.

I finally rerecorded mine without hissing. I'm fairly confident that the lack of any musical instruments whatsoever in my recording will cause mine to be given harsh reviews, but it's all in the name of love. Or Memphis, at least.

Okay,

After a few weeks off at summer camp (I'm staff) after the AAW, I'm in.

[Edit]: Looks like this is song #50 as Ross Durand alone :-)

Hope you all had a great time in Atlanta!

Ross

Congratulations Ross.

Your announcement prompted me to check my own tally - and Caravan Ray cracked the half-ton 2 weeks ago with So Weird.

So its 50 each and Steve D on 51 - I'll race you both to 100!

Did my song live after writing it yesterday, adding in some guitar. Very poor quality, but i'm pleased with the song itself.

MC Eric B - you have been burgled!

You're on! - but why does Steve get a head start? I think we should have one of his deleted :-)

I just sent mine in at around 9:55'ish, but didn't get a reply message. I hope I made it in. Guitars-A-plenty
Too bad the title wasn't "my battle with alcoholism", because it would fit better, lol. But I dig it. (pun intended)

edit: By the way, I don't really battle alcoholism, I battle sobriety.

You know, since the optional challenge is a live recording (which it seems a few have done), what would be a cool side-project is cleaning these songs up and posting them as an actual, studio/CD quality song. For instance, I know mine would sound 100 times better if I actually recorded the tracks separately and could mix them properly.

You should have thought of that before you boldly decided to meet the optional challenge. :P

For the record, it's "The the impotence of proofreading."

Our song, while brilliant and incredibly catchy, lacked lyrics entirely (probably because we know nothing and care little about Memphis) and so has never been heard outside my head. You are all spared.

We might have finished it, but we're researching local karaoke. A local proprietor offered us a freebie, so we scanned the first page and chose "All By Myself"*. Needless to say, that song is now all I can think about. I can barely even type this. Don't make my mistake: never sing that song during a SongFight! attempt.

*not me.

Congrats on #50 Ross. I'm glad you're in this week. After finishing up and mixing my song down for multiple hours last night, my ears desperately need some good quality rock. :P

There will be a recording of Hoblit was here at Midnight's Thank God for Memphis by the end of this week. (hopefully my voice will be back by then)

I'll be sticking to the original Vision. One acoustic rhythm and one electric background and one vocal track. (I may add one more vocal track to give the two guys and two guitars sound emphasis) I will not record it live as that moment had passed...Unless JB has a copy of it or something.

This would be a collaboration of Dre and I... Hoblit and Andre was here at midnight. Andre was here at Hoblit didn't go over too well with Dre.

I get a head start because I'm old and feeble.
