Hooray for naming conventions!

And -- I want to fight this week, I'm just not sure which title to go with. If I do it, it's gotta be in the next couple days, because the rest of the week is pretty busy. Here's hoping!

Boo-Yah!!!!!!!
So is that how you're supposed make the mp3 tags on submissions or what?
none of the titles are jumping out at me, but they all seem possible at this point. And I should have some spare time this week! I may or may not avoid "Season Finale" though because I F$cking HATE Raymond. And I say that with courage.

Not the tags, the actual name of the mp3. Read more about it.

Courage

Post by marnargulus »

After listening to Deshead's entire collection of music for the past few days on repeat, I've actually stollen his method of writing songs for this week. I'll be doing Courage. I read about the country song he wrote, where he wrote a story out before hand. I started doing that and came up with a great little folky's type tale that spanned about two pages. Hopefully I can cut it down a little bit, but it should be good. This will be a Marnargulus solo song, with the lazer's sitting out, or perhaps only playing some strings and keys. I was thinking a violin, with some soft piano during the chorus.

That title "Feet" would really tempt me if I didn't have to move Michelle's stuff in this weekend, thereby ruining the whole week for songs!

Looks like everyone is grabbing feet but me. Looks like I'm the only one that isn't a PEDIphile. Get it? Like you like Peds. As in feet. Kinda like Pedicure? These jokes are wasted on you.

And NeilThrun spelled backwards is Nurhtlien. Which I think is the German derivative of nothing. I could be wrong about that.

I think a Nurhtlien is a small marsupial that lives in a burrow and chirrups. I might well be wrong (or insanely bored).

Well I feel like a bit of a dick now because I really didn't name my MP3 properly. I know ignorance is no excuse, but my excuse is ignorance. I'll do it right next week. Anyway, I wrote a heart-wrenching gut-busting eye-moistening weeper this week for "Courage." I write best when I'm lonely and listening to too much Leonard Cohen, don't you know. Or I at least write most often then.

Love,
Luke
