Feet by Johnny Cashpoint
Some say that you can tell a personality by the shoes you wear
What do I do when I look down at you and I see your feet are bare?
Your nose it is running while your feet they smell, well, that's the wrong way round
Stinky shanks pony wash your feet in my sink, cos it's time to go to ground
Crushed underfoot, I've got feet on the brain,
I feel such a heel, never walk again
If you didn't have feet you'd fall flat on your face
Kneel down and worship at the church of Douglas Bader
Limping like a Lion with a thorn in his paw, when you should be walking tall
Give me ten reasons why your boots were made for walking, I''ll walk all over them all
You tell me that we are the only species with feet - well, if that is true
It's a feat of engineering to surpass the power steering and the Great Wall of China too
(Father!) The indian smiles, he thinks he's a cowboy
(Bernard Bresslaw!) The cowboy he thinks he's a red indian
She's got feet and she knows how to use them

Well we're out on the town
Lookin' for some fun
Our search for adventure
Has only begun
You say you want to try to find
A place to Dance
Well that's a happy
Circumstance
So we go into a club
That's right along the way
We're taking our seats
When the band starts to play
You're saying
Hey, baby, I like that beat
Well don't just tell me
Show me with your feet
Get your toes tappin'
Fingers snappin'
Get your whole body
In the groove
I gotta say
there's no better way
Than when you get up on your feet
and move
With an offer like this
I can't resist your charms
I'm up on the dance floor
With you in my arms
You say that dancing with me
Will make your night complete
Well don't just tell me
Show me with your feet
Get your toes tappin'
Fingers snappin'
Get your whole body
In the groove
I gotta say
there's no better way
Than when you get up on your feet
and move
Well it's two am
And the club is closing down
Bringing and end
To our night on the town
You say a walk back to my place
Would be a treat
Well don't just tell me
Show me with your feet
Don't just tell me
Show me with your feet

----------------------------------------------------------
i speak my words into this microphone
and they travel into the great unknown
through the dark and murky sea
but the waters aren't ready to set you free
how long will it be
before you hear me?
will you love me, baby,
or will you fear me?
your tiny feet and your tiny hands
will travel many strange new lands
but for now you're only drifting
in the dark and murky sea
one day you'll be washed ashore
and that's where i will be
i sing my words into this microphone
in a rich penetrating baritone, but
the little speakers lying on the beach
are just not strong enough to reach
how long will it be
before you understand?
will you kick me, baby,
or will you hold my hand?
your tiny hands and your tiny feet
will step and swing down this very street
but for now you're only drifting
curled up in a little ball
one day a tidal wave will come
and into my arms you'll fall
(rock)

they're going out to Wynnum where the air is sweet
sway their body move their feet
they move their feet

when you go to Moreton Bay see Caravan Ray and have a crab sandwich at the fish cafe

i don't have no love for the metric system
your centimeters, decimeters really have me CHEESED
your centigrade temperatures, i don't know when i freeze
i choose farenheit thermometers in american degrees
incheeeess and feeeeeet [FEET!]
incheeeess and feeeeeet [FEET!]
incheeeess and feeeeeet [FEET!]
I COUNT
incheeeess and feeeeeet [FEET!]
i have to roll my eyes when you crash the mars landers
a celcius oven would burn at colonel sanders
a mini cooper's mini because it's too short
if it was in standard it would be a Hummer Sport!
incheeeess and feeeeeet [FEET!]

gasoline is cheap when you buy it by the gallon
in liters it's prohibitive, you'd better ride a stallion
what's so great about metric, i don't know
even when you drive 110 you're still going slow

Feet - deshead
Long day, I'll tell you how it went:
we come back two souls lighter than the way we left.
The earth moved when I set ground again.
I've still got my sea legs and I'm falling over them.
I'm not proud of myself watchin' her go down ...
with a short haul overboard, done before I'd know.
On I went tossed about the sea.
The floorboards rise and fall, up and down beaneath my feet.
I wouldn't be here waiting for the spinning Earth to slow.

- I still can't stand
to think about her sinkin' in.
I still can't stand,
but I'll soon be on my feet again.
