A thread for folks to talk about the gear that will be available at the show, the gear people will be bringing, etc.
We probably will be bums and not bring anything. Sorry! I don't have a lot of useful stuff that's small and travels easily. If we really need a keyboard and there are no better options I could maybe bring my Yamaha Reface CP but it's only got Rhodes/Wurli/Clav sounds, no acoustic piano.

Here's what I have:
* 2 Acoustic guitars
* 1 Squier Telecaster
* 1 Bass
* 1 ESQ-1 Keyboard (that I still need to get out of storage and make sure works)
I also have a small MIDI keyboard that can be plugged into a laptop for noises.
We are planning on renting a drum kit. I am also considering renting or borrowing a second electric guitar.

Re: Song Fight! Live 2018: Gear Info
I bought something that I'd wished I'd had last year which is a box for going from laptop USB to two XLRs for routing a laptop to a PA in a way that's supposedly better than just using the headphone jack and e.g. an 1/8th" to RCA cable. I could bring that in case anybody is planning to play along to tracks on a laptop. It's "class compliant" so should just work on any laptop without a driver (though folks who don't have plain old USB ports anymore e.g. because they bought a recent Apple computer would need a dongle, but they're probably used to that).

Do you have any hand percussion like tambo, shakers, maracas, etc.?

Got some shaker eggs, sleigh bells, whatever the ridged fish thing is called. I have a toy tambourine that's not very good.
