Oh, so NOW I come up with some lyrics.

Of course I think they're great, or anyway they're on topic, because we know what this title is about, right, so I should know better, but being me I will put them in Ye Olde Lyric Marte the day after the deadline, in case anybody want's to take a run at a late entry, not that anyone ever picks up the lyrics from there, except I know I did once, but then that was on time. Also maybe I'll come up with music and make a late entry of my own. My sympathies to the long-suffering Fightmasters. Don't wait for me, this may not happen, the weather up here is getting too nice to hang around in a studio.

If memory serves correctly, Gold Standard was the name of Dylan Nau (aka Fat Steaming Bag)'s IRL band.
EDIT: confirmed.

I got to see them play when I attended an SF Presents event in Minnesota -- which I believe was March 2005.

Would be cool if they, or just Dylan, submitted something for this. I was always a big fan of his stuff.
