man oh man....there's a coupla folks been talkin' about a bit of a SF supergroup, as yet unnamed. Might be a submission into Pink Skirt or Twin Kiss. ...either way I'm thinking this tune is gonna be hot and bothered. The demo's are already hot....

I've created a little b&g pink skirt thingy, just for the occasion. Now if I can just blag some studio time from the cat I'll be well away.

I've written Pink Skirt, but let's see if I can get it recorded. It's been a while you know. Have most of the day off tomorrow. Let's hope lethargy doesn't get the better of me.
so . . . when was the last time you backed up?

I'll be in for a bit of cross-dressing fun in Pink Skirt. By the looks of the lyric archive, I'll be in the good company of Caravan Ray and his stilletos :)

I've written a 'Pink Skirt' and have recorded it as a demo (on cassette) for a proper recording. It's live, with guitar keys and voice. It's good but it is unfinished AND I'm not going to be able to finish it by the deadline...

So do I:
A) Submit demo, hoping production demons are on holiday.
B) Crawl away and whimper.
C) Submit demo, record song and re-submit finished item later (hoping for a swap).
D) Other, as yet unknown plan.

Your sage advice would be much appreciated

submit what you have!!! Why bother worrying about production demons? I'm in that fight, and I'll probably mention it, but that's just me. Production is only one component of the whole thing... I think the swap idea is contrary to the concept of SF's deadline though, so don't try to do that.

Submit. If you've got this far you'll only regret it if you don't.

Mine's in. It's a bit of a departure from my usual style, but then we have to keep evolving and not be trapped even by our own traditions.
so . . . when was the last time you backed up?
