TIGERLILY / King Arthur

Let us dance about Natalia
Mistress of green meadows on an April afternoon.
Let us watch her through the windows
Of this dark and dreary room.

Tigerlily,
Growing in a most peculiar way.
Tigerlily,
Growing in a most peculiar way.

Let us whisper of Natalia,
Let us hope she doesn't hear us
When we can't contain our melancholy moans.
And do nothing to discourage
The way she skips along the city cobblestones.

Tigerlily
Blooming in a most delicious way.
Tigerlily
Blooming in a most delicious way.

Mondays shall be my days,
Tuesdays shall be hers;
Slave to no one's wishes,
But captive to this curse.

Pay no attention to Natalia,
Pay no attention to the man behind the emerald door.
Cartwheels in the afternoon;
The wizard waits to see her pass by just once more.

Tigerlily,
Dancing in a most delightful way.
Tigerlily,
Dancing in a most delightful way.

She blooms where she's picked,
She blooms where she's picked,
It must be some kind of trick
The way she blooms.

Eyes turning occipitally to the backs of her words as she lets her thoughts free on a greasy keyboard, Tigerlily1580 has her stories to tell. I read 'tween her lines and find secrets to sell.

oh, and, i'm over you-know who. that makes my whole life better
tee hee

... and i imagined out my whole future wedding last night... but it wasn't because it was valentine's day- it was because i was thinking about my dad and i was telling my friend eddie how tough my dad is... and i thought of his image, all tough and dignified and intimidating... and i thought about him wearing a tux, which i've never seen before, so i i got the image of my dad in a tux in my head and it all sorta snowballed from there.

July 10th, 12:25 AM
and now i'm here watching this movie about anacondas with my dad listening to him threaten to bring home a capucin monkey as a pet (my mom would kill him) and reminiscing about how his dad was in borneo with headhunters hehe

July 26th, 7:14 AM
dad is making his own taco shells- so i'm kinda excited for that. i love watching dad cook. it's kinda out of the ordinary and he's good at it.

later that day, at 8:30 PM: ok so dad made us tacos tonight... amazing tacos...

Tigerlily, your story intrigues me and rivets like no other and I'm glad you can pour yourself into Livejournal.

Tigerlily - stueym - July 29, 2005

Tigerlily won’t you stay
Tigerlily won’t you lay
Our forbidden love is truer now
No matter what they say

Neon lights on water play
Perfume scent shows me the way
Feel of silk upon your skin, And the heat of you within
All my sense now decay

chorus
Stay, say you’ll never go away
No, no matter what they pay
Hold me til the morning light

Instr

Tigerlily won’t you stay
Tigerily won’t you lay
Our forbidden love is truer now
No matter what they say

Rough of Stubble on your chin
Reminds me of my own chagrin
That my love for you must be, something others cannot see
Won’t allow this mortal sin

Chorus
Stay, say you’ll never go away
No, no matter what they pay
Hold me til the morning light

"You know, I rather like this God fellow. Very theatrical, you know. Pestilence here, a plague there. Omnipotence ... gotta get me some of that."

I want you to be my Tigerlily
I want you to be my Tigerlily
And I'm gonna be your broncin' Bull
And I'm gonna be your broncin' Bull
Nobody gonna fuck wit my Tigerlily

I'll run them over and stomp their teeth in
Run them over and stomp their teeth in
Run them over and stomp their teeth in
Run them over and stomp their teeth in

Tigerlily (The BeWells)

The news took me back to our childhood
Days that seemed so innocent and true
I pulled out that book so worn and dear
You left a flower pressed inside so I would think of you

Each and every scene we had memorized
Replayed in our backyards time and again
Your favorite place was out in that lagoon
Where I would rescue you from the captain and his men

Hope the thought of those days helped you through
I would have done anything for you
But we were young and I could not understand
The cruel things that some can do

Much too soon we'd grown you were on your way
Fighting to escape and keep your pride
But those hooks had left a pain too deep
'Til at last you were lost beneath the rising tide

Hope the thought of those days helped you through
I would have done anything for you
But we were young and I could not understand
The cruel things this life had brought to you

I can see you now (repeated)
