Lovin' up the good storm!

Post by Reggie Dallas »

Hello and how do you do? My name is Reggie Dallas and me and my friends are looking to cook up a reeeeal sweet scene if you know what I mean. I'm talking about something songfight's been missing for too long. SOUL. You feel it deep down? Sometimes? When you're flipping through the radio and maybe you hear that little snippet of "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" or maybe even you get a Temptations back-to-back weekend block? Well PM me if you want to join the band, Dr. Phonstopple and I are going to be holding open auditions soon to fill the roles of guitar, bass, and maybe even some keys if you can really cook.

Much love and good luck to you,
Reggie Dallas

Well if isn't Reggie "San Antonio" Dallas, the hippest and most ironically nicknamed cat this side of the Love Motel. I'd heard you were back and lookin' for some action...snooping around the Intra-net, they told me! Well I couldn't pass up a chance to go back to making some sweet soul jam so I heard and I'm here now.

I'll be working up those keys if you'll have me back. And let's see if I can't do any music on this whacked out computer thing.

Squaresville with 100% organic 90 degree angles.

Anyway, I don't play guitar well enough, and don't play bass and keys at all, so I can't help out. Am intrigued to see what all this Reggie Dallas business is about though.

So, Reggie and the Doctor - you are getting the band back together, yes?
I know we did not part on good terms after that last world tour - that incident in the tour-bus hot-tub left an unpleasant taste in all of our mouths - but we are all men-of-the-world, no? Let bygones be bygones.

No doubt you are aware of the unpleasantness surrounding my recent arrest and incarceration. Rest assured though - my therapy is progressing well and the zoo-keepers have informed me that the penguin breeding program was not seriously compromised.

While I am no longer allowed to handle sharp objects - including plectrums - I have here in my cell a makeshift guitar fashioned out of a bar of soap and used dental floss.

I am at your service. Use me - I am your tool.

Whoa there! I'd be reaaaal careful about starting fights with Dirty. That man knows how to lay on some real sick jazz. And ever since that story about the 8 year old and the dingo broke, he's been especially rough.

Thanks for the note, Dirt-Man. I'm glad to see they're teaching you how to write while you're in the slammer. I look forward to hearing what kind of tunes we can send across your cell block this fall.

Real glad to have ya' back!

Dirt I shoulda killed your ass! I had the gun in my jacket but then the heat came down on you. Anyway, all we need now is a bassist and some on the kit and we have ourselves a SHOW!

I hit a mean triangle. Some say on time too.

You know where I am if I'm needed, and I like the sound of tour busses with hot tubs.

Mmm. Splish splash. Ting!
