I was wondering what happened to this album. Of course, I love it. Favorites are both Delmak-O's, Give Me The Gun, Message From Above, The Importance of Good Leadership, Persus 9, and the two "bonus" tracks. In The Squib and Todestraum also have a special place in my heart.

Great mix throughout. Shame about the mastering, though.

One and off,a year and a month, I believe (although some of that was me dragging my feet on getting bits done - I'm crap like that)

I listened to this again last night for the first time in a month or so and I was really struck by how good it is, and even if I say so myself, the lyrics I wrote came out pretty damn well. I am personally particularly in love with the more electropoppy songs - 'Coffee Pot', 'Message From Above', 'Strange Little World', 'Good Leadership', 'Expedition', 'The Tench'and 'In the Squib' are all really really good. If I was to criticize I would say only that 'Todestraum' is probably a minute or so too long and that I preferred the '4/4' version of 'Nightmare'

Stick on the demo as a hidden bonus track?

I haven't read 'A maze of death'. Would it be better to read it before listening to the album, or doesn't it matter?

Listened to this tonight. It is bloody awesome. It flows along really well, and kind of swoops, rollercoaster like, between being slow and fast. I am definately going to have to give this a closer listen. And I might poke around for the book, too.

It's kind of 'Inspired By' rather than a 'Musical version' but it's a very good book, I'd reccommend it to just about anyone.

Yah, there's lots of details that got left out. Like, I think there are two or three chapters in the middle of the book that don't get covered at all.

Although, if someone offered me money to make a musical theatre version of this, I'd probably do it.
