Help Name My Band!

Post by Henrietta »

So, my band is breaking up already, but a couple of us are going to stick together and start a new one. We play mostly alt-country/country/rock originals.

We need a new name asap. Everytime we come up with something we like, there's already another band by that name and we're running out of good ideas.

Okay, GO! :)

Darnnit! I really like a couple here, but they're claimed already, (and a couple belong in this other thread: http://songfight.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=66 ). Maybe I'll just have to be a band pirate and steal one...

Not only is that where TheHipCola got his name from, some SF'ers have placed their monikers in the database. It has since generated the following:

Anti-Puce
Noah Maclaughlin Fetish
Arcane C Hack
Better Than Jack Shite

and my fave so far:

Perhaps that should more accurately read "...some SF'ers have had their monikers placed in the database...". I know I didn't enter them (being too focused entering silly things like "William Shatner's Toupee" and "Dildo Derring-Do"), but someone did (and thank you for doing so, mystery person!).

I'd hate to give the impression that other people of respectability are actually using the 'base, and thus validatiting it, heh. It's a long term goof for our entertainment, pretty much.

Edit: Server's back up now... so here's some that tickled my fancy:

Nudist Camp Drag Queen
Hot Buttered Epidemic
Guitar Hustle
Big Ball of Poets
Octagon Magog
Impure Thoughts of Zero Population Growth
Surrogate Sound
Obtuse Appendage
Paging Mr. World
Taking the Guesswork Outta Society
Primordial Wendy
Gratuitous A Go Go

...and to follow Albatrosses post, here's a six pack (all from the same page list) with not one, but two 'fighters:

Noah McLaughlin Association
Jars Of Pink Neverland
Celtic Puce
Whopping Thumb
Razor-sharp Pie
Hell's Paroxysm
