Taken this past saturday night at the legendary Sweetwater in Mill Valley, California. The guy in the green polo shirt playing guitar is my friend Eric, aka e-money, aka jefferson, aka the better half of brody. The old guy on the right playing guitar is Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead.
Even as a non-Dead fan I'm impressed. What was the setlist? Are you going to post a boot?

eric has been playing in this band (jelly) for the past year or so now. the other guitar player (john) is a longtime friend of bob weir. in fact, he lives in garcia's old house in nicasio. the show was a private party, which i think is the biggest reason bob decided to play with the band.

That is indeed awesome. Very cool to jam with gods. He the man. I have a small story, nothing like jamming or anything. I met him at one of his trip parties at the exploratorium. "Fun cookies", I recall thinking. It was more a visual thing after that

i just got off the phone with e money. apparently, bob had so much fun playing with eric and his band (jelly), he's asked them to back him up in about 2 weeks. 300 people are paying $175 a pop to hear them play at the mill valley community center.
That is awesome!!!!! What a trip to be playing with one of the cats who was part-pioneer of the whole acid party movement. Betcha he's got some stories after some liquid and a few doobs. Very cool!!!
e money of brody and bob weir of the grateful dead busting out "rider" last week at the larkspur theatre. in fact, he's wearing the same shirt he wore at SFLH&D i think.
