Announcing Spudfest 2006
Celebrating Spud's 50th Birthday
Saturday, March 11, 2006, 8:00-Midnight
Zeitgeist Cafe, Seattle, WA

Songfighters are encouraged to attend. Octothorpe will be performing, and so will you. If you can include Spud in your band somehow, all the better (well, not necessarily better for you, but for me).

Pre-functions to be determined as your participation is made known.

SPUD

p.s. my actual 50th birthday is February 22, but I will be in Hong Kong, hopefully sitting in with a Jazz Band.

I would not miss this.

Thank you for putting it on a Saturday, so I don't have to quit my job to attend!

Whether this is me and Rachael, or the Half Racks remains to be seen. I will aim for the latter.

ROCK!

I was thinking I'll try to catch a bus up to Spokane and then maybe catch a ride with you to Seattle, and fly from Seattle to Boise (it's the Sat before spring break for me). So... keep me posted if that sounds agreeable.

Failing that I should be able to find a ride there; I know a half-dozen Seattlites and certainly I could find a ride with one of them (or even a stranger that attends the college).

If you're in for sure, PM me and let me know, and if you want to play. There will be logistics, and I wanna make a poster (you know me, it's all about the merch), etc.

Now that Vegas looks to be off this is a definite possability for me. I need to check on a few things (mostly stuff like where the hell will I be working at the time), but this is way up on my list of priorities.

Ken, if it works I may try to fly into NOCAL and road trip with you guys.

Glenn and Rachael will be present.

Justin was not available, so there will be no Half Racks performance this time, sadly.

We'll probably play an acoustic set, unless some other opportunity arises (Explino!?)

ROCK!

God damn I wanted to go to this.

Sadely (well, not sadley but uh.. did I mention I'm happered right now? no... ? )

Anyway, my wife is a play and the performance is that night. A little family piece called the "Vagina Monologues"... so I shall not be able to attend.

Which is a drag cause I would have loved to drum on an Octothorpe tune or four...

Happy Birthday, in advance!!

Perhaps another time...

I will definitely be there. As for playing, I've got to think about it for a couple days. If I do play, keep in mijnd it would be my live performing debut of my own songs.

Also, I have a basement someone can crash in for a night or two if necessary. Basement includes separate entrance, full bath, futon, carpeting, stereo, cable, gas fireplace, computer, piano, leather couch. $0 per night. PM me if you're in need.

I'm hoping I can make it up there... It sounds like a blast!

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY in any case!!!

Dunno about performing. Would anyone really want to hear some boring old girl-from-Portland plunking away on acoustic guitar? Nahhhh... save spots for the ROCK.
