Is the car going to the junkyard or are some of the parts being salvaged to form another vehicle of some sort?

Sonofsupercar got the very first vote I placed on SF (Moscow, Idaho). I still love that one.

Thanks for a lot of good tunes, fellas. :D

Oh no! I really liked your stuff! You brought some much needed "angular" rock to the SF! I was looking forward to hearing more!

Yeah, that is a shame. Tell Dennis and Stephen to keep in touch. I guess the kids will be your band now.

Dumb question: I take if you're not going to be playing the LA gig? (I haven't checked if you've posted in that thread yet.)

Maybe we should start that Led Zeppelin cover band now. ;)

Zow...

I've always enjoyed SOS's stuff, and the live show was always a blast. Gonna miss hearing new stuff from you guys.

I was *sure* that I was gonna die at that first SF show I went to (back in Sep. 2003) when you guys blew out my eardrums while the crowd danced with such fervor that the floor was flexing up and down. I always enjoyed the fellowship of helping to load up the big ol' van w/ the copious quantities of SOS gear after the show, too... *smile*

Glad to hear that it was an amicable end, at least. I do hope that all you guys continue making great music.

haha. i was there. i remember spud was supposed to be working the door and he just left it to go mosh with yook (and almost everyone else) while sos was playing. that was a crazy ass rock show. i feel lucky to have had the chance to see you guys play live, because thats really the only way to experience sonofsupercar.

My favorite songfight band is done! Before I had a chance to see them live!!!!! This F*&KING SUCKS! Seriously, I was just talking to my bandmates in my second band (Buffalo Jones) about how much I was looking forward to seeing sos live, but now they have gone the way of my SECOND favorite songfight band, Duboce Triangle.

Seriously: <a href="http://www.last.fm/user/GlennCase/"target="blank">Check out my Last.fm profile</a> for my favorite band overall.

I am somewhere between sad and pissed off, particularly since I missed out on seeing you guys live, but best of luck to all of you.

ROCK!

Damn. Sonofsupercar was one of my favorite SF bands. I don't even know what to say. I'm in shock.

*sigh* one less good band on songfight. Sorry to hear it. Where will I go for my favorite-hippies-with-effects-pedals sounds now?

Will you reform in twenty years to cash in on your new found popularity, as Son of Son of Supercar?

I'm thinking they'll go all Cher on us with endless reunions and "final" tours.

Still...RIP SoS (Rock In Peace)

Hehe. Hey, it could have been worse. I could have voted for myself.
You've got my vote for Mayor of Moscow, if that's any consolation.
And - I thought your song was pretty funny.

This sucks, but fair enough. Red Flag is still one of my favourite songs.

That, and the live version of Death Plunge.
