Sound card recorders -HELP!!!

Post by Kill Me Sarah »

Ok, so I started using the software that came with my Line 6 TonePort. I knew that it was crippled to the point that it wouldn't allow you to add more than 4 tracks, but I didn't realize that it's crippled to the point that you can't export the file to a WAV or MP3 (if I'm mistaken, pleases let me know...but I haven't been able to figure out how). I have spent so many hours on this recording, that if I can't export, I'm going to need to record it from my soundcard or something. Can someone point me in the direction of some freeware that will record the sound playing from my soundcard?

Thanks for the quick post. Turns out it was a false alarm. Live does indeed render to disk as WAV. Phew!

Ok, I'm in love w/ it again :)
