Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter

Post by c.layne »

what can you say about this film? jesus fighting lesbian and catholic vampires? mary magnum?! a song and dance number? it's awesome.
there are some pacing issues, but considering it was made to be a b-movie, i think it does a pretty awesome job.

oh, and the soundtrack kicks ass.

Hah, I saw this at like 4am a few years ago. It... is bad. I'd love it forever if Jesus didn't get a makeover part way through, at which point he stops looking like Jesus and starts looking like nobody and the movie loses all of its novelty.

Don't forget freakin' Santo! (Well, a Santo, not one of the many The Santos out there in movie history.)

Kick ass movie, and yet another reason to like Canadians, heh.

Count me in.

Film's an A+ for the Geo Tracker spawn point alone.

This is playing on campus tomorrow night (for free). I might go see it. The clip on badmovies.org looks pretty good.

Wow, this is f'n spectacular.

The cheesiness and campiness is near critical mass. it's beautiful.

Reminds me of the time at my old job where some of my heathen friends & I protested against our religiously pushy co-workers. The result: Jeebus Crust: Supercar. The story of the other son of God who was a race car driver and had a parrot. The best part was the soundtrack that included (to the beat of Michael MacDonald's "Sweet Freedom") Shine Sweet Jeebus.

I hear for this movie for the first time. What genre it is? It looks more like comedy than horror
