If anyone is interested on collaborating on a song or having me play on their song, I am available this week. I can play percussion (shakers, djembe), violin, electric/acoustic guitar, keyboards, and program drums. Just PM me if you're interested.

well, i've decided. seeing how I was almost hit by a train last week, and I'm in a deathmetal mood.... I'm going to do hit by a train. From the arrangement of the intro I just made, and the Ideas I have for it, it could end up being a very lengthy song, and I'm guessing most will hate it. I might even get this guy back home to do some live drums on it.... so with any luck, this could be rattpoizon's finest... that's what I'm gunning for anyway. If anyone can growl like chris barnes, and squeal like the dude from circle of dead children and would like to collaborate... p.m. me 8)

I've written Had It Up To Here, featuring a riff I may have stolen from somewhere, but can't place. So, along with the barre chords, you may soon have had enough of me in more ways than one.

I'm planning on doing "What a horrible thing to say".

Rone's plans are subject to change. As seen in recent weeks.
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

Just wrote and recorded "Hit By A Train"

No chorus, three verse love ballad ala-Lou Reed, under 2 minutes.

Howdy,

I've been lurking around songfight for a couple years now but never really got involved because i didnt think i had the talent (or really the equipment) necessary to be proud of what i had entered. Well now i have a tascam 122 and though its still pretty low end.... i think i may be ready to finally join yall (oh yeah im texan). 8)

I just need to add drums to this track and i think ill be in for "Had it up to here". Kinda wrote the lyrics as i recorded it, so they arent all that great.... and im not a good lead guitar player at all... .but it fits. :? Can't wait to finally be a part of this community.

judging by your lyrics you posted, i guess you've already done your song this way? i wouldn't worry about it, nobody would be so particular as to give people negative reviews for mispronouncing the name of a city, i'm sure. (unless marcus kellis lives there)

It'll be funnier (having seen yr lyric) because the rhyme will sound entirely forced!

and it's not like you're the first songfighter to ever mispronounce the name of a city in a song.

Barring some unforseeable catastrophe, I'll be in for "What a Horrible Thing to Say." Which, I suppose, is a forseeable catastrophe, but I think I'm okay with that.

If anyone rhymes "Brisbane" with "train" - I tell you now, I won't vote for it.

(But I will vote for you if you rhyme "Melbourne" with "porn". I'll vote for you twice if you rhyme it with "shit-hole")

And another "Hit By A Train." Possibly noteworthy because I forewent (?) the drum machine on this one, it's just guy 'n' guitar 'n' synthstrings...

Hooray autoresponder!
