Original AlbumFight 3-CD Set at Closeout Prices!

Post by frankie big face »

It's now been over three years since the release of the 3-CD AlbumFight, which features my full-length LP Smile If You Absolutely Have To, as well as Please Let Your Faith and Patience Be Mine by ADD Music and Feel Things Deeply by the John Benjamin Band. We've decided to do a couple of things to sort of close the books on the whole deal: a) the 3-CD set, still available in very limited quantites (like 15 or so), is now being sold at the closeout price of $6.00+shipping ($9.00 total)--yes, three full-length CDs for six bucks; b) release all the tracks as MP3s. This means nine new (well, old really) ADD/FBF/JBB songs for download! I plan to post a lot of them over at somesongs and the rest on my website. I believe Jeff has already posted his at actdead.com. Anyway, if you'd like the album in CD format with art and a snazzy case to step on and break in your car, click on this link and follow the instructions: http://www.frankiebigface.com/order_cd.htm .

This is insane, people! A treasure box of real ... treasure.

MOVE OVER KING TUT!

Buy it just to break it. Breaking shit never sounded so good.

I'm bored, but I'd buy this AGAIN if I didn't feel like I'd be stealing from some babies' mouths.

And I'll just point out that Frankie's Towering Inferno (as heard on this 3 CD set) is quite possibly the best song ever written. Ever.

After a suitable period to allow others to have a shot at these, I will buy another set just for backup, if they are still available.

Haha. Well, if that's all it takes, feel free to simply send me money on a regular basis. You can have my name on your MasterCard month after month!

I don't think that I'd like to participate in the scenario above, but I did my best by removing one from the inventory. With an order that is, not lifting one from the pile.

Okay, flurry of activity seems to have subsided. Just FYI, I received all your orders and plan on mailing them out later today or tomorrow. For anyone else who's interested in purchasing a set, a bit of fair warning. I will be in Europe for three weeks beginning this Saturday, so orders placed after tomorrow will be delayed until I return in mid-July.

Thanks for the interest!

Yay! I look forward to getting those CDs, though I'm bummed I probably won't have them before Erin and I go to Europe on Tuesday. By the way, if you're passing through Brussels at all, Frankie, and want to get a beer or something, that's where we'll be hanging out for the most part, for two weeks.

For you, I will try to get them in the mail TODAY. Maybe I'll even send yours PRIORITY MAIL. We'll see. You have to promise me you will listen to them in front of La Grand Place. That is the condition. (There is no condition--I'm just posturing.) I'll see what I can do.

Sadly, I will be nowhere near Brussels or I would take you up on your offer. Most of my time will be spent Austria and Germany. But if you find yourself in Venice on July 6, I'm totally free for lunch!

Frankie - Rothenburg-ob-der-Tauber is pretty awesome, if you get to go there.

Thanks Bill. I was there last year briefly and it is pretty cool. Unfortunately, I am travelling with a group and, while I will get close to Rothenburg (as close as Dinkelsbühl, another moated city), I don't have much control over the itinerary.

Okay, I put a bunch in the mail yesterday, but I have to make another trip today, so there's still time for you! 3 CDs=$6.00. How can you lose? Okay, I'm not really the salesman type, but I will be shipping more today if you're interested.

Frankie doesn't need to be a salesman with product this amazing. Seriously: all three discs are chock full of some of the best songs ever written:

Frankie's "Towering Inferno," "New York," and "Scared to Death."

ADD's "Shades of Black," "Coming, Dear," and "Maybe So."

JBB's "Towering Inferno," "New York," and "Coming, Dear."

There's nine GREAT reasons, and only one of them is currently available for free online.

(Frankie also doesn't need to be a salesman when this many satisfied customers are willing to write good reviews here in this thread. :) )

I have received my copy, and it's great. FBF's "Locked Box" is a fantastic song.

Also his "Locked Box" and "New York" are even better. They are absolutely superlative songs, both of which were sort of personal anthems for a while.
