The Song Fight Bulletin Board

It is no secret that Rone Rivendale is one of the most prolific and impacting musicians of the new millennium and perhaps ever. His music, weaving intricately composed melodies with emotional and powerful lyrics, has changed the lives of countless listeners and has reached the ears of people all around the world. Rone's music strikes a universal chord, his message is one of peace, understanding, and worldwide cohesion. It should therefore be no surprise that people wish to erect a museum to forever memorialize this modern Renaissance man's contributions to the world and further spread his amazing message. This is my dream.

Perhaps I should introduce myself though. I am Phineas W. Morgan, a noted Smithsonian music archivist, renown across the world for my numerous music history books such as "America's Funniest Slave Tunes" and "Midgets With Oboes: A Look Back on the Littlest Struggle". My most recent book, "A Brief Glimpse at the Music in Human-Animal Interaction in Sport-Themed Environment Films" covered the film scores of movies such as Soccer Dog, Airbud 2, and of course, MVP: Most Valuable Primate. I am also the founder of Kwanza'a.

I come to you today to ask you for your help. Although I am in posession of a few of Rone Rivendale's songs, I do not have enough to open a museum. I humbly ask you, the Song Fight Network, to give me Rone Rivendale's music. All contributors will be mentioned in the museum's brochure and will receive a free Rone Rivendale shirt with an enlarged picture of his face on it.

Why, it's Mike "Rone Rivendale" Bush himself. I am both honored and awed to make your acquaintance and I hope that I have not been too forward in my endeavors. Mr. Bush, at the risk of rushing past introductions too quickly, I would greatly appreciate it if you sent me some of your music. What little I have heard exuded with a magnificent brilliance that few can even comprehend, let alone achieve. Please, Mr. Bush, send me some of your music.

I appreciate the enthusiasm I am receiving for my idea to establish a Rone Rivendale museum but I believe a better way to show enthusiasm would be to send me more of his music. Regardless, thanks all for your comments.

I apologize. I am not as acquainted with the internet as I'd like to be although I have since figured out how to obtain Rone's music from the archives. I appreciate your help, though, because without your comments I certainly would not have been galvanized into searching for it.

Although I'm receiving primarily negative responses, I do not believe this would be the general consensus of the public. That said, I am sure I will have my fair share of nay-sayers in the future and I appreciate the experience this has given me.

I have already contacted the internationally-known architect I.M. Pei and we are currently negotiating the cost and design of the museum. Although Mr. Pei prefers a more traditional look, I believe a more modern, perhaps even "post-modern" look would be more befitting of Mr. Bush's style. Regardless, I must thank all of you for hosting such a hodgepodge menagerie of Mr. Bush's art and I can only hope you continue to do so.
