hmmm. I like that title. I suppose I should look up what it means now. As soon as I feel better, I'm gonna dictionary.com that. Just having a hard time with it right now... fingertips...sore... must...recover... must...say...SHAZAM.

If it's any consolation for those critical readers of posts, I really have no idea what I'm typing about.

I'm a critical reader and I don't feel consoled. It's just simply the fact that you rocked my face off. My face is on the floor. Yep. Let me know what I owe you for last night's convalescence. Thanks.

p.s. con·va·les·cence - Pronunciation[kon-vuh-les-uhns] – noun
1. the gradual recovery of health and strength after illness.
2. the period during which one is convalescing.

I don't have recording eqquipment up here at college. And for some reason on the way to class i wrote a whole bunch of lyrics for this song. Yet i have no way to record them. Damn!... maybe i'll come up with something. Or just post em in the lyric mart.

hmmm... gah! wish i could do this!

This one hit me as an inspiration, so I've written my chorus, and the tune for the verse. Hopefully I can put some more effort into this one than the last few.

I can get creative with this one. Although I'll be writing a song about convalescence, I can pretty much figure I won't be using the title in the song anywhere. Sorry Ross.
....but then again, I haven't even put the pen to paper yet, so you never know how things will end up once the spirits start flowing through me.

Man... I whipped up an idea that sounded so great in my head, it's so gonna suck fer real. I'm totally looking forward to failing at meeting my own high standard of pure excellence.

Now if I can just get some lyrics together.

Psss ... Convalescence rhymes with adolescence. Put those two words in the chorus and you're halfway there.

So I've got my song written, with chorus, verses, and a pretty poor instrumental section. I'll keep that area nice and short though. I'll record mostly tomorrow, I'm guessing.

I think perhaps you are pronouncing it differently than I am. What you suggest does not rhyme with adolescence as I understand the word.
