All I can think of is the They Might Be Giants Song "it could be worse."

Oh well, I've already filled my annual Song Fight entry quota.

I was going to take a week off to learn the last four songs I've entered for performance, but dammit I like this title.
Am I rockin' hard, or hardly rockin'?

For the first time since Ignorance is Bliss, I really like the title. Might have to do this ... but only if I have time.

Nice. All I can think of is this previous songfight ... it's that Figure 8 song that I really liked. Haven't seen Figure 8 since. What happened to them? I really liked that song.

Dammit... I read the title very quickly, wrote some lyrics for "couldn't BE worse". I may use them anyway.

beats

Post by MC Eric B »

To all the haters who did not like the fact that I used premade hip-hop beats in my previous songs, this week I am entering using just me and my Casio keyboard (which I bought this week). Now, I know working with the pre-made rhythms and sounds on the Casio is not the same as playing the instruments myself like most of you guys do, but hopefully it is progress at least.

I don't want to get off the topic here, but hit up the keyboard thread that Jolly Roger started and drum up some advice. It's all about layering beats and sounds with your kind of music.

I too was thinking of taking a break.... and I will. From writing and guitar. If ANYONE wants me to do vocals for this tune, I'm up for it, otherwise, no Wages involvement on this cool title. PM for vocals

I think that this title has the potential to be a legendary one, but I think I may have to sit this one out. I know, I know, ...settle down people. It'll be alright. But I have a hankering to do a nice tight bass line if anyone wants my, uh, services. I'll post in collabos as well. XOXOXO -Paco

I feel like entering is a possibility. And I probably won't spell the title out in the song like it's a license plate serial, and pretend those are lyrics.

C-O-U-L-D-N-pfft-T-H-A-V-E-B-E-E-N-W-O-R-S-E is sort of catchy though.

His name is MC Eric B and he just bought a Casio so obviously it will be the best song you've heard this week.

ps MC Eric B get a new name you handsome fellow. That name is already taken and someone who is shit at everything like you are shouldn't be using it.

Due to the fact that this is the first decent song title in a while DJ Big Dick will be submitting a song.

and MC Eric B needs to get a new name. You can't just get a famous producers name and throw MC in the front and pretend it's not biting. shameful.

Inspired by my good friend Dj Big Dick's participation (whose song I have concluded is frighteningly good after previewing) The Anchors will also submitting their first entry in 8 months.

Prepare to have your asses danced off.

names

Post by MC Eric B »

DJ Big Dick - My real name is Eric Borgos, so that is how I came up with MC Eric B. As far as I know, the original Eric B. has not released any songs in over 10 years, and does not sound anything like me, so I don't think there is much risk of confusion.
