Cool. I'm curious if there is a particular reason you're mirroring it.
[edit: I've looked at the other threads now and see that there appears to be a download issue at songfight proper.]

I'm surprised mine showed up in his mirror. Usually you can't see my reflection. 8)

Good. Now all we need is another board that is in control of the membership and we'll get into action.

We need to elect a President, Archivist and a Treasurer.

I'll develop the Songfight training manuals. If anybody wants to pitch in, I want the program to move through stages of development. We will have catagories of song types and the Songfighter will have to meet the objectives of each project.

There will be only one project with an assigned title and the title will be given by a regular member.

There will be an accapella project. In that one the Songfighter will write a song with ONLY words and melody and submit it without accompaniment. We will evaluate and judge the song on it's simplest foundational elements: words and melody.

I'm excited. Think of it! Every year new members in the roles of coordinators.

I'm glad you people called me in.

Klownhole endorses this. What is needed is more structure. And more process. You have to have process. People think there aren't rules anymore, for crying out loud.

Remember, you are either part of the problem, or you are part of the process. Or, to use a new phrase I'm throwing around these days, "save it for the scrum!"

Sidefight!

You can call it "Uri-Ine". Should be awesome.

...OTM , can you use your awesome powers and intellect to formulate a plan to make the homepage of every government official in the state of Nevada while you spend the next two weeks of your annual visit at Songfight amusing me?

I just hoped I could assist you in your demolish-cractic process by giving you useful things to do.

Now, at some point in time some one is going to say "don't feed the trolls".

Which is kinda stupid... how long has OTM come by for? How many different boards? Think about it...the dude is simply passing by, fucking around, pretending to care. I think it lasts like three weeks, tops, then he has his fill... see, you gotta feed it until it's so stuffed it has to go and hibernate. It's funny. Enjoy it, it spices teh place up abit. no need to get bent about it.
All though, when I see "OTM" I think "organ to mouth".
Then I snicker.

Hey stoopids, the entire state of Nevada changes administrations every 4 years. If they can do it, then we can too. I just have not heard even one sensible reason for private ownership of a community.

Klownhole has a good idea. I think you should post your songs there and open a democratically run forum. If the members want to, they can vote on anything. I'm sick of seeing these two bozos at the top telling people to fuck off about everything.

Get serious.

That's not the point. the point is that YOU refuse to get off your ass and do anything unless it involves a party.

They shouldn't have to pay your way and they shouldn't be saddled with the workload either.

Why the fuck would anyone want to be stuck in the position of having to do all the work. Spud and JB have appointed themselves as adms for life. And you're happy with that because you don't have to do any work. But that is not community. Community is sharing all of the work. Community is rotation of members through different roles.

You will never get really good people here without democratic form. the best people know their shit and democracy is it!

Songfight flunks it.

Creeps!

You tricked me blue! I thought you were going to get a democracy going here. You PMed me and said "Post here. Tell them about democracy"

Now you're in trouble, blue.

I don't like retards on the Internet.

So I'm going to have to oust your administrators and take over this community and kill all of you and eat you.

When Drew turned out to be Kompressor, it almost ruined my day. If OTM turned out to be Jack, it really would :) But it's OK, until we see the mirror, anything OTM posts is just pissin' in the wind ....

Are Grey With Vox and Pipefist supposed to sound that much alike? I'm hearing the same song for those links.
