I've got a song that started as a poem (by my wife who rarely writes anything), so I'm re-working it to be a song. The below file is where I'm currently at.

Initially, I'm just hoping someone can point me to a drum loop that fits so I can record a demo in the proper tempo (my brain just says NO to the tick...tock....tock...tock of the metrognome*; makes me want to go schizo).
But of course if anyone is diggin' this, I could use some well played guitar, a bass line, synth, drums, general suggestions, and mixing. Please PM me if you can/want to help in any way.
*Metro Gnome would be a great bandname OR fight title!
