What happened to the East Coast and Canada?
Are you tired of roll call already?
Or are you guys just so darn polite that you want to give the West Coast a chance?

Fine, I'll open with one of my "pair of dice" thingies
*clears throat*
Another day in pair of dice
Hammering on a bunch of squares
Hoping to type something nice

Started on AAW yesterday
I don't think I can do it
I see at least 3 more days just on this one
I know the trick is to start multiple songs
I can't seem to multi task with music
But I hate to give up
I shouldn't have even started
Now I'm obligated, to myself
Working by the beach again today
On an island actually
Lido Island in Newport
I will be inspired by the time I get home
I'll get all hopped up on teh pop rocks and red bullz
I hope my heart doesn't splllodde

Questeee'own of zee dwa: <that's my French accent
Can you post a link to something that you find funny from YouTube? (or other vid host) If so, please do. It doesn't have to be music related, just something to raise a chuckle.
Today is funny link day. The non optional challenge for todays QOZD is that you have to describe your YouTube link using Alliterations, so prepare to poop your pantyhose. Nur Ein taught me stuff.

This is one of my favorite FG bits.

Yeah BLT, not exactly a question. Plus we have a whole thread for it elsewhere.

(And yes, I wanted to give the West Coast a chance)

@ work: writing documentation for an XML API gateway… boring…
@ home: trying to finish my video for Melvin’s sugar shaker, but my 30 day trial version of Vegas 7 has expired. I was thinking of buying it, thinking it was like $60 bucks… but shit! It’s more like $600 bucks! I’ll install the trial version on a second machine later today.

The only reason I’m posting here thought QofD:
You want funny videos?
I was till late last night laughing my ass off watching The fight of the conchords stand up routine. You have to watch this…

Yay. I love Flight of the Conchords. My favorite is Albi, the Racist Dragon.

Another day at work. Today we're celebrating another birthday, so there's brownies and lots of ice cream in the break room. Woo! Not much for ice cream, myself, but a brownie now and again is a good thing.

Also: Today I rediscovered the Rodeo Cheeseburger at Burger King. Silly and awesome. And a buck twenty nine, to boot.

QotD: Please, people. Try to participate, perhaps? I'm inclined to think this half hearted cover counts:

Yeah, I can post something.

And to head off the next question, "what is it?", I give you a link:

This guy, Brett Leake, is a great sitdown comedian... in my days of going to comedy clubs a lot (before my friend Jim got married, and before I got married) we saw him three or so times. Great brainy humour. Unfortunately what I found is a promo video, not straight comedy, but that's ok. It'll give you a taste. Haven't seen if he is touring lately.

My interviews all went really well. Company in Santa Clara said they'd definitely make me an offer, though I'm completely uninterested in working there. Company in San Francisco didn't say anything categorical just yet but I know it went really well and I'll be surprised if I don't get an offer.

I really don't want to leave Seattle but the only response I've gotten from any of the Seattle companies I've applied to is "Sorry but you're not what we're looking for" (wtf).

CEO of the Santa Clara company said (quite ominously) that there's no way I wouldn't be moving down to the bay area. I almost want to find a job in Seattle just to spite him.

I'm not sure I get this. As in, Seattle sucks? Or, he's going to make you an offer that you can't refuse?
Is this good news or bad? I'm guessing....good?

I'm pretty sure he meant it as in "Seattle sucks." Everyone here (SF) buys into the myths about Seattle's weather.

Though the point about the lack of diverse tech industry is fairly valid, and I think that's what he was getting at.

Haha! Awesome. It's amazing how energetic those guys are. Just watching their show(while babysitting) is draining.
Songfighter since back in the day.
