Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

I'm not sure why some people are talking about tomorrow already.

I didn't submit a "So Weird": no time. But the wife is on a trip next week so maybe, just maybe...

Question of the Day: What's your favorite SongFight! entry you never actually recorded/submitted?

Submitted, but didn't get an email confirmation from the fightmaster like I did last time I submitted a song. Since I'm still kinda new to this, should I worry about not getting the confirmation?

Gonna see the Simpsons movie with my wife tonight--It's been over a year since we went to the movies, looking forward to it.

QotD: Since I've only been around for a month and a half, I've only attempted a few songs that didn't make it, but I had a really catchy guitar riff for Ottoman, so I'll have to go with that one.

When I saw there was already a 7/28 thread my schedule flashed before my eyes in a horrifying instant. I'm okay now. :)

Off to Hampton Beach tonight to play at the Boardwalk Cafe. Whee!

QotD: The 'Applesauce Baptism' fight was posted well after the deadline, and in that interim I had nothing going on, so I wrote and submitted a song. It was not entered in to the fight. I like how it came out, though.

Back to the past....

QotD:
"I wish I was so sure". I wrote it but never entered it. But it ended up being one of my favorites and it became a part of my set at Songfight Wayne.

Whereas I appreciate the irony of that reply, I would like to put my paranoid neuroticism to rest...

Spring Of Teal is my favorite song that I've ever written and recorded. Period. I it accurately represents a song that I wrote that achieved it's goals in writing, performance, and production. It's a song that turned out exactly as I had intended it to.

Accelerator is my second favorite songfight song.

Moonshine has been my best received songfight tune.

I Can See You fight features my first and only songfight win.

The fun of live recordings. To the best of my knowledge, no one was injured during the recording of this performance

My favorite is "Welcome to _____." I like it because it's weird but also has a strong chorus. I also like that it has ukulele but doesn't feel peppy and annoying like when ukulele fanatics play it. I hate the ukulele genre of music. Those people can shove their retro bullshit up their vintage asshole.

I'm in a bad mood today.

qotd: My track <a href="http://glitterandtwang.org/songs/files/ ... lerator, I thought, had a lot of promise. I was trying to be Bob Dylan, kind of.
