I got payed today and I don't know what kind of booze to buy tonight. It needs to be the kind that makes me think I'm talking at a normal volume but I'm actually talking into a megaphone.

Also, i need to buy a megaphone.

What is everyone else doing... hopefully some of this -> :D

It's Shannon's fourth birthday today. This morning he got a PlasmaCar. He's psyched.

I'm working. Tonight I'm hosting open mic in Waterville Valley.

MC Wino: Scotch = liquid volume. Good luck!

Oh, the show went really well. I didn't get to meet Al or anything; he came in on a bus about two hours before show time, and pretty much just walked straight into one of the back offices and that was it.

His show was great. Lots of costume changes. And the folks at Meadowbrook gave me excellent feedback, and I might turn up on next season's schedule. Yay!

I got some video but I haven't YouTubed it yet. Supposedly there are some digital photos coming my way too.

I actually have inspiration for "Thank God for Memphis"--I hope I can find a decent source photo. I also need to figure out how to make fabric wrinkles in photoshop.

One of my new year's resolutions was to make 25 song fight cover arts this year. So far: 0.

Today we took a choppy ferry ride to the Aran Islands on the western coast of Ireland. An extremely remote, barren place that's extraordinarily beautiful. I'm sitting on the edge of a 300 foot cliff over the Atlantic at Dun Aonghasa, a two thousand year old ring fort made of thousands of tons of stone beautifully constructed that is literally falling into the sea piece by piece. "Spectacular" is a very, very, very mild word for what lay before me. I'll post pictures when we get back.

Can't wait to see the photos!

I really enjoyed your pics of Chichen Itza, by the way. (Did I spell that right?)

Nero's snap viewer has several good canvas and melting FX. Not sure if any look wrinkled though. It's a free app, I just can't remember where I got it.

Well, being that my "Thank God For Memphis" song seems to have turned into a song about Tennessee whiskey and how it's slowly and comfortably killing me, I'd go with a nice bottle of Gentleman Jack. Not only does it let you think creatively, but it makes women do things with you that they normally wouldn't, woo hoo. :P

I may manually drag and stretch to create wrinkling. I wish I knew how to convert an image into a filter map for stretchiness.

Like I said in that other Muse thread. Get some MD 20/20. That'll get you drunk and also hyper. It will make you feel terrible when you wake up. I'm sure everyone here knows about Mad Dog already right?

I haven't had alcohol since last Friday. The sobriety is a strange thing. It is interim month at my school's library (between summer classes and fall), so we closed at midnight instead of 3 am. Me and another guy who always work until 3 used this early closing to go to the bars every night. We were basically drunk every night for 3 weeks. It is a strange thing to be drunk so often and also unhealthy. It got expensive on occasion, but mostly we drank $1 PBR at Mo's in the Village.

Being sober after drinking all the time sucks. It should be socially acceptable to be perpetually drunk. They should have cars that drive automatically like in that one shitty Arnold Schwarzanegger movie about the future and cloning. Society and the world would be slightly more slow and humorous if all work was done while drunk.

Today was pretty awesome. Worked at Bonjour Kids, figured out I probably have strep throat(along with mono, woo!), drove into Philly with Dad, went to World Cafe Live to meet the people from Y-Rock(who I'm now volunteering with), signed up to work at The Rentals show next Saturday, walked from one side of Philly to the other side(so not a good idea when it's 90 out and you have mono), ate tasty salad, went to The Yeah Yeah Yeahs concert, rocked the fuck out, worked for Y Rock and got lots of people to join the mailing list, tried to drive home with a friend, found the ramp onto the Schullykill was closed, drove around shady West Philly, discussed going to the Modest Mouse concert on Sunday, got home, registered for a free Josh Ritter concert, typed this.

Now! Away to bed! I am all rocked out.
