Scary Movie Trilogy

which one of the three was your favorite... and if you didn't like any of 'em... well they'll be an option for that ;-)

Scary Movie 2 was definitely the best, simply because of Dwight (David Cross) and Hanson (Chris Elliott). A LOT of scenes could easily be cut, though. The first and third are pretty awful. I think the best of this type of teen spoof movie is either Scary Movie 2 or Not Another Teen Movie. Not Another Teen Movie is more enjoyable all the way through, and there's lots of detail and 80's references in it so it's good to watch multiple times.

i agree... Not Another Teen Movie was awesome... they did an awesome job on that movie... most parody movies miss a lot of things that would've been so easy to bash on...
but that movie was done about as good in my opinion as possible...

can understand that... the third wasn't too horrid... but i don't think it was as good as the first ones...

for some reason none of them really have re-playability quality... but it's cool to see 'em once...

i'm not voting on this poll because i didn't even realise there was a third one!
i thought the first one was really funny, but the second one was probably a better movie because it expanded its satirisation (i think i just made up that word) to include more "classic" examples of the horror genre rather than just contemporary "teen slasher" flicks which seemed to be the focus of the first one.

also i will have to go with the sentiment being expressed about "not another teen movie", which was way better than either of the "scary movies" i saw. [edit: oh yeah, and i have to say i totally enjoyed NATM even more after i saw some of the newer movies it was spoofing such as "she's all that" and "never been kissed".]

I liked the first two, didn't really care for three all that much. I think the idea played out by then and so you could only 'expect' the humor in the third one. There are some funny parts... hilarious even, but just more of the same really.

2 was probably the best, but one was pretty darn funny.

I found the first one shockingly unfunny. There is a very dry 45 minutes in the middle of it where I didn't laugh once. Also I never understood the point of spoofing Scream, since Scream is practically a spoof of the genre itself.

I'd much rather watch I'm Gonna Git You Sucka.
