I pwn3d the Audition 3 bug!

Post by Märk »

I guess they've been trying to figure out this bug for 3 months, none of the developers could reproduce it, but it affected quite a few people.

I did a reformat and installed (sigh) Vista a couple weeks ago, and just got around to installing all my music apps. Audition 3 gave me the dreaded error/crash. I googled a bit, and found the Audition forum where several others were whining about it as well, so I fucked around a bit and tried to solve the problem (It's not that important to me, I actually prefer good old 1.5, and that runs fine on my system)

It took me about 10 minutes to nail it. Adobe now knows what causes it, and is working on a fix. I feel... kind of special right now :)

That's awesome. It looks like you've saved people a lot of trouble.
