Tuesday: It was cold enough to still wear a jacket.
Wednseday: It was cold enough to wear a jacket in the morning. The afternoon got warm enough that a jacket was excessive.
Thursday: HOLY CRAP IT IS BURNING UP OUTSIDE
qotd: What's the weather like where you are? Here it is 88 degrees out.

Tuesday: It was nice and temperate.
Wednesday: Gettin' windy.
Thursday: ARGH IT'S COLD AND WINDY AND RAINING.. wait, "argh"? I *like* cold and windy and raining. Well, mostly the raining. I guess I could do without the windy.
Some gal from the Journal took pictures of me and my kid while I was walking her to school. I guess Sophie's alligator poncho thing is super cute. I hope they edit me out, but that wouldn't make much sense. "4 year old, alone in the rain!" ...yeah, I guess they got me. What the hell's the story, tho? "It rained! Look at the cute kid in the poncho!" Bleh, the Journal sucks anyway...
(EDIT: wait, is my "title" or whatever based on my # of posts? I just cleared 100... and I used to be Poly-something ..terephthelate?, something like that... damn, I wanna be terephsomething again, not this -vinyl chloride gunk! Argh, so it goes..)

Today was so freaking nice outside, 88 degrees with a breeze that for lunch, i found a nice shade in the park, then rolled my car windows down, tune into NPR and took a nice nap.
Life is good.

You know, just linking to a weather.com "today's weather" page isn't very helpful when you come back to this thread in January to relive these good times.

25 degrees (77 in your speak). Sunny, fluffy white cloud, light breeze, and I can look out my window and see thousands of sailboats bobing around happily on Moreton Bay.
So WTF am I doing packing up my house to move to New Plymouth, where it hit a max. of 15 degrees yesterday, min. 6. Effing 6!!!!! (42-60 in your speak) - and it frikkin' rains every day.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrghhhh!!
Winter is a really bad time to leave Brisbane for New Zealand. I think I have mentioned elswehere - and I maintain it is absolutely true - there would not be a single spot on the planet that has more pleasant weather than Brisbane from May to about September. We should have arranged this move in January, when this place is a sauna that stinks of rotten mangos and batshit.

give or take a degree, but yeah... this same day every year will be nice in Tampa. (Global warming and natural atmospheric trends not included in this prediction)
and yes Fluffy, I realize that weather . com is not going to freeze this day to preserve this thread. I think that if somebody needed to know what the weather was like today , six months from now... would be ridiculously bored. Bored beyond any need to keep this thread remotely accurate.
So Fluffy, how often DO you come back and visit these DRC threads anyways?

Re: May 15, 2008
Hopefully not too boring, but the weather here is just hitting its stride. The leaves are almost fully unfurled, it's flirting with 70 degrees, and the bugs aren't all out yet. Late May through most of June is a great time, typically, for New England weather. Sleeping yet?
Well, me and the guys did our community tv taping last night, down in Mass. I think it went well, if a bit sloppy, although the singer/bassist said he didn't perform too good. I couldn't really hear him, but I did ok with my usual skudgey touches. It was fun, and hot under the lights, with the cameras and an 'action' photographer going all around. I did end up making wah-wah mouth while playing the wah, of course. It's supposed to start airing in late June, I'll put up a link then.

beautiful weather, a little cloudy but very comfortable. no idea what the numbers are and i can't be bothered to look them up. nice weather this evening for a few games of volleyball and no rain, which was possible. allergies, though, are freakin horrible. last weekend in buffalo was great, now this week in maryland is about as bad as they ever are.

Sounds like a great name for a crime fighting sitcom.Caravan Ray wrote:mangos and batshit.
plot: When the city becomes over run by do-gooders that are only in the hero business for chicks and free parking, Mango, a cheeky monkey of a man that thinks he's a chimp and wears a little tiny bellhop hat, and his room mate and drinking buddy, batshit, an over weight slob with a shabby old fruit bat costume that's two sizes too small, decide to roam the city at night to beat up heroes that have lost the true meaning of being a caped crusader.
Because of their lack of athletic abilities, Mango and Batshit have to lure their next targets to their cave of doom, which is an old Dodge van that they keep parked down by the river. Mango will dress up like a woman and Batshit will dress up like an evil villian with a handlebar mustache and tie Mango to a shopping cart. Batshit sits perched in his cave of doom grinning and rubbing his hands together as he waits for his next spandex clad victim.
