Wordpress plugin help!!!

Post by Reist »

Hey guys,

I'm pimping out my website right now, but I'm having some pretty significant problems implementing an mp3 plugin I downloaded for wordpress. My site is here - www.radnoise.com and the plugin information is here - http://www.1pixelout.net/code/audio-pla ... ss-plugin/ ... I followed the instructions pretty much to the letter, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Has anybody used this plugin before, or can someone walk me through it? I'm pretty terrible with computers.

Thanks,
Andrew

I'm not a Wordpress guy, but you link to a 2 year old plug-in page. That's a lifetime in web technology. You may just have compatibility issues. There's a link to v.2 beta, but you may not want to go that route. Are there other tools to accomplish what you want?

Thanks for the advice Roymond. I decided to do that, and I downloaded a few different ones to try out. None of them are really classy, but the one I'm using right now works fine. It's not pretty, but what can you do? It's free.

I use that plugin successfully, it looks pretty much like what you've got on your page except the player shows without clicking a link. I was reading the usage panel and this may address your problem:
Warning: make sure you are using Firefox, Opera or Safari when using this method. Not sure why, but the Link URL buttons don’t work in IE and this is still not fixed in the latest WordPress development version.
You can see the whole description here: http://wpaudioplayer.com/usage

That being said, it's probably not bothering with because the one you have looks just the same.
Working hard to suck less.

That's kind of the way I'm starting to feel, to be honest.
