DRC: It's almost Election day and I just want it over with already. Otherwise, I'm fine. I'm looking forward to watching Word Wars tonight as well as doing some figure painting (see the Nivfilm thread in Monkey Affairs).

QotD: There have been tons of bandnames in the history of Songfight. What are some of your all-time favorites?

One of my favorite names is Atari in the Desert (I like the E.T. story).

I'll admit I get an odd, strangely juvenile chuckle out of names like Lightning Ear Fart, Swedish Masturbation Unit, Aaron's Bowel Problem and the Butt-Pirates of Penzance.

I will also mention Bonfire of the Manatees, Test Tube Steak, Amber Waves of Brain, Chuck Chuck Moose and Eight Legged Oedipus. Maybe more later if and when I find them.

No brown nosing here, but I think Octothorpe is a great name. Not to mention the # is cool looking on the kick drum head.

(Look out for next weeks entry by Smokey and the Arse-Bandit. Or Charlie and the Chocolate Cha Cha Factory)

It's hard to take that video seriously with its intro full of angry techno music and quick cuts including a horse nuzzling the camera.

qotd: I like Lemon Party, if only because it makes them really hard to Google.

I've always thought "Doctor Worm" was a good one.
Also cool: Suave Noise Youth, for its anagram origin and later interestingness. Transatlantic Fight Club (I guess Niv has good names). TV's Kyle.
