I always wanted to start one of these threads... :)

So, today is the first day from Spring Break at KSU and while attendance was a little low this morning, at least the students were attentive and active, so it looks like a week off did everyone some good.

Myself, I spent more than half of it grading papers and preparing lesson plans. Not the most amusing of vacations, but a very useful one at least.

As a result, during my office hours I actually have some "free" time to review the latest fight, catch up on some reading and especially conduct some research, which at the moment involves reading Sébastien Japrisot's Un long dimanche de fiançailles (A Very Long Engagement), which I will eventually use in a paper about its adaptation to the big screen by Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

Question of the Day:
What do you do with your spare minutes of free time during the day?

DRC: So, last night, I stayed up all night with my son who had a fever, went off to work late, only to have someone commit suicide by jumping in front of the train I was on. I called that a sign and went back home.

QotD: I run a wrestling game called the Misfit Wrestling Alliance where a group of talented writers put their creative minds to the test in a game of oneupsmanship. I also play a lot of video games like Prof Layton and Rock Band 2; and I songwrite.

QotD: I check Songfight and certain political blogs, and I write songs. If it's after lunch on a Wednesday, I sometimes have enough time between calls to read one of the shorter articles in the week's issue of The Onion.

Dude, Niveous, your day has been WEIRD.

Yeah, they'd like to have you believe he "jumped". I say he was pushed!

Just so you know, those aren't mine. John X. Ambrosavage is otherwise know as Octothorpe's "Mad Dog".

qotd: Mostly I draw comics, watch way too much TV, and occasionally write songs, usually for this weird site called "Song Fight!" that you may have heard of. Also I spend entirely too much time on Portal of Evil and its related sites (poeTV, poe-news).

Today was my first day in the new job. There will be less free time. But I maintain my son's school's website and check SF/FB a few dozen times. And read media specs.
