Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

05/21/09 jury duty

Post by fluffy »

So I spent all week anticipating jury duty and ended up not needing to go. Hooray.

qotd: How does jury duty work in your neck of the woods? If you live somewhere other than the US, how are your court cases decided? Open debate? Firing squad? Auctioned off to the highest bidder?

I have never been on jury duty. Fortunately, I've also thus far managed to avoid facing a jury. So I know little about the process in general, except for playing the Harvey Birdman game on the Wii.

Man, the rum goes right to my head.

Ooh, I just got Harvey Birdman for PS2 but haven't played it yet.

qotd: I got called for jury duty once, but was rejected. Fuckers. I had to sit in court for an hour, only to be summarily dismissed when my name was called.

I recently got a copy of the PS2 Harvey Birdman game and I found it to be like a shitty Harvey Birdman episode with terrible game mechanics.

Right now I'm playing Braid. I got it just last night and I'm already almost done - just two pieces left until the ladder is complete. Short game. (No I didn't use any walkthroughs.)

[edit] whoops, for some reason I thought this was the 'currently playing' thread. Braid is fucking with my head.
