i do corporate marketing for a living and have for many years. great match.
QOTD: no. actually, the place i work at is still hiring. we have new positions all the time and are having a hard time finding people to fill the positions.
QotD: I passed the 2 year mark at my current job May 11th of this year and really don't have any intention of going anywhere. Now if we count songwriter as my job than I've had that one for 7 years. ^_^
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style.
Looks like we may be giving New Zealand the arse soon. My wife is awaiting confirmation of a new gig back in Queenlsand. Which means I will have to pull up stumps agan and prostitute my self somewhere else.
At least it will mean going back to earing real Australian wages in real Australian dollars! Hooray!! And warm weather and decent stuff on the telly! Hooray!!!
And if I were you Jack - I would think very seriously about that fridge repair opportunity. Sounds like a good move to me. Corporate marketing doesn't keep anyone's beer cold.
Nope. Don't need a job. There are plenty of psychotic/depressed/borderline personalitied/drug addicted/mooching off of the system people out there to keep me employed for a long time. Just gotta keep from bringing it home with me, literally and figuratively, to maintain my grip on my shred of sanity. S'good though. I'm working hard and liking it.

yeah, but it's what got you to buy that beer in the first place.
You're right. Good thinking.
Instead of pumping more refrigerants into the ozone layer, what the world really needs is a slick marketing campaign to convince me that the beer is actually nicer warm.

QotD: Well, though I am employed, but that doesn't mean I don't need a job. I've already gone over a bunch of the reasons I'm not happy there, but here's a new one: they just decided to cut all vacation hours until further notice.
So yeah. There's a lot of reasons I'm happy being at home today (even though my jaw hurts like hell) and not at work.

QotD: No, I've got a great job. It just doesn't make the kind of money I have become accustomed to. Now, if I could just get some quality leads from people that can afford more than a fish pond, I'll be back in the black.
