Dana wears dresses just to prove that she's a girl.
She's a toothpick woman but she really do rock my world.
She can't wear strapless cause her chest is really flat.
She's shaped more like a ladder than an hourglass.
She ain't got no booty but I love her skinny ass
Dana wears dresses just to prove she's not a boy.
She's a toothpick woman but she's my loving joy.
Some of my friends think she's really a male.
She's a natural born woman, but I ain't the kind to kiss and tell.
If you mess with my Dana, you know there'll sure be hell.
She ain't anorexic or bulimic I can tell ya that.
I took her to McDonalds and she ate about three big macs.
but it won't stick to her bones, it don't get the chance.
Cause she won't hold still, no, all she ever does is dance.
Dana wears dresses just to prove she's not a man.

Re: Dana Wears Dresses
Dana could be anything that she wants but she
Knew long ago that the one thing she wants is to be a mom
Dana’s 19 working two jobs a day with a
Boyfriend who might as well be in Bombay; soon she’ll be a mom
She lights up a Camel, her gut feels the burn
Not sure when it will happen, but soon she will learn
That her childhood was better than she gave it credit for
Never a picnic, but not worth what she’s headed for
When will she get she’s done paying for others’ mistakes?
And Dana wears dresses she finds at the thrift store
And Nathan will take all that she has to give and more
No matter what she will live with the choices she makes
La la la la la la-la la la...
Everyone tried to make her understand
That whatever she thought things would not go to plan if she’d be a mom
We all shake our heads as we circle the date
All the reason we offered could not alter fate, ‘cause her will’s too strong
She got what she wanted, on that we’re agreed
It remains to be seen if she’ll get what they need
‘Cause a person’s a person, no matter how small;
What the hell was she thinking if thinking at all? She
Knows nothing, knows nothing, what chance do they have to get by?
It’s her way, the highway, the fast track to ruin
We all pray, we all pray that she knows what she’s doin’
I guess that there’s no way to know ‘till she gives it a try.
