Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

Yesterday i was here - looking at wild crocs, jabiru and brolga:
and this morning, I was canoing here:
It has taken me 40+ years to get here - but the Northern Territory is pretty damn awesome. Kakadu - one of only 25 places on earth which is World Heritage listed for both natural and cultural significance - is pretty cool. Can't beat rock art tens of thousands of years old to make one feel slightly insignificant.

That's beautiful.
My wife and I celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary today. Exactly four years ago (well, minus two hours, as of the writing of this post), I stood at the altar in a tuxedo and watched Allyson walk up the aisle. I still get misty-eyed thinking about it.
We don't have any special plans tonight, though. We might go out for tacos.

No - not work sadly. I used to work in the field in places like this in the past - but have been badly office-bound in recent years.
My wife was in Darwin for a conference - so we all came and hired a big-arsed camper van to hoon around in for a week.

1) Jealous of beautiful vacation. Thanks for sharing the pics!
2) Congrats, Jon! (And tacos is a perfectly good way to celebrate your love.)
